Wait, what is that I hear outside.....it sounds like a truck. Could it be?

Nope, it was the trash truck.

Well one of my two UPS packages has a fresh "destination scan" this morning and the other still hasn't been scanned since Monday. The DHL and the FedEx are blowin' in the wind. I decided I would wait until Tuesday AM to start raising sand with the shippers because I'm such a nice guy.

Well, I'm sure this "no accumulation" all over the roads will be the final stake in the heart of any chance of my missing package getting here this week.

I can just see the shipping execs in the boardroom "Are you kidding me? A Dec 8th snowstorm in Ga? What's next a late hurricane? Volcano? "

Yeah, well .......Paulding isn't getting much of the stuff that is already late ...today. :emoji_snowflake::emoji_snowflake::emoji_snowflake::emoji_snowflake: This is just turning into an epic disaster.

Just found out my bed parts were shipped yesterday from SC, arrived in ATL last night and are .....

"Out for Delivery"

Whoo whoo!!!

Our furniture was delivered today, but the truck couldn't turn into the driveway because of the ice. We had to use my pickup to shuttle it to the house.

It really is a good idea. We have a small table that we usually have by the pool with a jar of Little Debbie Christmas tree cakes and brownies in it (So the annoying little animals do not get to it) and bottled water. I know a snack is VERY appreciated.

Husband went in this morning to see what kind of order he can create within the mess of packages. This snow storm on top of everything else has just created so much chaos. I am happy to see many of you have received your stuff, and I have hope that everything will be delivered by Christmas.

One UPS package out for delivery today, but I doubt he can get down our driveway. I can't win for losing.

UPS delivered one package (they put it in the yard at the street behind my stone mailbox Sunday), Homey D is going to file a claim with UPS for one other UPS package, Another shipper filed a claim with FedEx for one package, and believe it or not, DHL claims to have found the other, but it still isn't showing up on the USPS track. I'll believe that one when it gets to my mailbox. So right now I'm one for four on Black Friday-ish shopping. I may just forego it next year. Quite frankly, I could have bought almost all of this locally, but I'm just too lazy.
