UPS is screwed again!

Some packages that were supposed to arrive on the day it snowed seem to be missing. Tracking has no new info. Stuff I've ordered since then and packages ordered at teh same time but were shipped by USPS have arrived.

Amazon says they might be lost.

Yeah, UPS lost another of my Home Depot packages last week. HD reshipped and said that if I get two, just send one back as a double shipment.

Strange, it was supposed to be shipped to Ellijay, which usually goes through Gainsville. It arrived in Doraville and then wound up in "Atlanta" which I guess is Fulton Industrial. It was never seen after that.

I ordered a replacement coffee mug for the one I recently broke and a hat from Kona Joe's two week ago. They both arrived early last week and were shipped from Hawaii. The Queen receive two packages last week too so I'm not sure why we're not having delay issues. I'm not complaining, just trying to make sense of it.

I had some packages delayed due to the weather but that is no surprise. Fortunately all have now been delivered.

I understood the delay due to snow. But why haven't they bden delivered yet when items I ordered afterward have been?

I hate to say it, but USPS is kicking UPSs butt!

I ordered something from Pandora for my wife last week. UPS tracking shows it left Memphis the 18th and arrived in Atlanta the 19th, but shows it won't be arriving to the house until the 23rd. They are stating delays due to bad weather. What is sad is the purchase included two-day shipping.

That is weird. Home Depot packages seem to be jinxed!

Same. I actually received one early since I had another coming.

Your location. Specifically, anything being delivered from the Fulton Center. (Which the FI location deliver's many areas, ours just is called the Fulton Center) It is still a bit of a mess, drivers not doing as they should and they have packages on their cars and just bring them back (Union issue) and they just might have new management after the December fiasco. The snow definitely did not help out at all, and those packages were set aside because many/most were late and they delivered the newest ones to make service on them first. You should have all your packages now, if not by Monday. After Monday if they are still late I have no clue where they could be!

With it coming in on Friday, it is not surprising that it was delayed a day, which would be Monday, why it reads Tuesday the 23rd is odd, but I am not familiar with operations in rural areas and what they do with weather and holiday delays.

Thanks. I'll give it until tomorrow before I pitch a "hissy".

Well, they delivered one of the "lost" packages. The driver said he couldn't find the other.

Ugh!!

Both the original shipment and the replacement show "out for delivery" from Gainsville now. The one that was lost in "Atlanta" had an "Atlanta" departure scan last night and an arrival scan in Gainsville this morning after being lost in the sauce in "Atlanta" for a week. We shall see if I get one, both, or neither today.

This is a weird one...did we have some bad weather or natural disaster in Doraville today that I missed? :D

Wow...it's just amazing how screwed up things can be yet continue to move along like nothing has happened.

Well whatever that disaster was it apparently caused them to drive your package around Doraville for 11 hours and 18 minutes, because it arrived twice. I think the natural disaster was that the package fell off the belt.

Bringing this thread back from the dead for something really strange....

I still get deliveries via Amazon Logistics at work and they still have problems. However, this one is odd....I've got an order that was scheduled to be delivered Wednesday. It wasn't and Amazon tracking shows "a carrier delay has occurred". Today we get an email at work in our general info mailbox from a lady in Buckhead that came across the box on her morning walk. The location she found it is about 8 miles from our office. That is odd enough but she also said the shipping label has been marked out with a pen like someone was trying to cover up the shipping name and address. And the box is still sealed.

Here's a pic she sent me (I blacked out my name and work address...don't want y'all stalking me...LOL).

Very weird!!!

They are delivering here in Hiram now. For the most part, they've been on time, and even earlier than the post office. But I never know where they will leave stuff.
