Amazon Logistics

...Quite frankly, I could have bought almost all of this locally, but I'm just too lazy.
That's me as well. For Christmas gift though I think I'd rather know I have it in time rather than take a chance of it being received late, if at all.

I ordered something I needed for my shadowbox and it was shipped from Eugene, OR on the 11th via USPS. I just checked the tracking and it's supposed to be delivered today by 8pm. I hope so. I had the option of having it shipped UPS at a higher price, but took the USPS option. I didn't want to get ticked off if it didn't arrive on time paying more for UPS; especially after reading about the mountains of packages here.

I ordered something from Amazon that was originally to be delivered today by 8:00 PM, then it was updated to a Friday (tomorrow) delivery. It arrived early this morning!

Way to go, USPS!

That reminds me; I forgot I ordered something on Amazon so I better check it.

I still have delayed UPS and FedEx packages, but I now have two LOST USPS packages. They just told me, "file a claim." I want the stuff, not the money.

Just checked Amazon and it showed it was delivered yesterday and left "at or near the front door." It wasn't there. I found it sitting in the front seat of my wife's car. She left her car unlocked (something I wish she wouldn't do). This is the second time the UPS driver has done this. I wish they wouldn't do that.

Call the center and tell them. They should never open a car to do that.

I have a mystery package with an unfamiliar tracking number supposedly coming today via UPS. I wonder if my missing package slipped into an alternate universe and found its way back? I also have something coming via USPS, although they still claim to not have gotten the DHL shipment. It's going to be an exciting afternoon.

Sex toys?

Looks like we'll be giving out gift cards this year since the Queen and I can't go out together and shop while her mom is staying with us. She doesn't want to pick stuff out without me and there is absolutely no way this guy will go pick out gifts for everyone by myself. I don't trust that anything ordered online will arrive before Christmas Eve so it's, "Here, enjoy your gift card and Merry Christmas."

On the bright side, we'll get at least double fuel points for each card we purchase. :dancing:

Pretty much everything I've ordered in the past week has been delayed at least one day. But, fortunately, still nothing is shipping via Amazon Logistics so that's good.

Well, my marriage may be over.

Ordered the part to fix the dishwasher on the 5th, received it today... or I should say we received the open, empty shipping envelope. ARRRRGGGGGG

Called GE Parts and made a claim and asked that a replacement be shipped.

What next???

(Not UPS Diva)

Sorry. After receiving my empty box from Sephora (it was delivered UPS, but all tape was intact under the original shipping label...it was Sephora) I can relate. Sadly my stuff was not replaceable because it was their special BF deals that they ran out of in about an hour.
I had one package that was damaged so bad that FedEx called me and told me they were contacting the shipper for me. LOL, I can only imagine what they must have done to that package.
I am sure that the marriage will survive, pull up your sleeves and get to washing. ;)

The package I was supposed to receive by 8 tonight did not arrive. I checked tracking last night at 9 and it said it was still "in transit to Cleveland, GA." This morning it says,

December 15, 2017, 2:52 am

Arrived at USPS Regional Destination Facility
ATLANTA NORTH METRO DISTRIBUTION CENTER
The package is delayed and will not be delivered by the expected delivery date. An updated delivery date will be provided when available. Your item arrived at our ATLANTA NORTH METRO DISTRIBUTION CENTER destination facility on December 15, 2017 at 2:52 am. The item is currently in transit to the destination.

I hope I get it by tomorrow.

Well UPS threw the missing box into the bushes by the street at 9:30 last night. It was literally laying in the bushes by the mailbox. Fortunately I checked my e-mail before I went to bed or it surely would have been gone by the time I ventured up the drive this morning. I also got the package from DHL...and it was missing an item.

I'm not so enamored with online shopping this year. Next year might be a reversion to me at Walmart, Target, and Kohls on Christmas eve.
