Well, my Xmas stuff showed up a day early.

Diva - Just got another order assigned to UPS. How are they doing here in ATL? I'm assuming the blackout at the Airport was *another* hit to their schedule...

It was, but they did get many of those packages that had not been loaded on the airplanes yet on trains. There was also the incident at the Pleasantdale building that stopped operations and they brought thousands of packages over to Fulton Industrial because the police and OSHA had to investigate. Though all in all, they are better than they were a week ago. They have over 100 executives helping sort and load packages and even delivering some. (I luckily got one of those, left in the rain yesterday. When I picked up the box it fell apart. On the bright side, it was a baby bag that happened to be in a plastic bag inside the box.) They are running 24/7 to try and get everything delivered, but I will say this, the visibility of the packages still stinks. Most everything is messed up, I am fairly certain someone's head will roll on that ongoing issue.

Thanks. If it helps, Amazon is having it's own issues. They are still pushing their prime 2 day delivery, but of the three items I ordered on Tues night, only one has actually has a waybill and has left the warehouse and their system can't decide if the other two will be the same package or not. It's showed all three together, 1 and 2, all together again, back to 1 and 2 and this morning 3 packages. Since the whole order was $30, if they do it as three packages, they are gonna lose money for sure. Oh yea, the estimated "2 day delivery" is now Sat (from a Tues order and if the other two don't leave a warehouse soon, that's not gonna happen). It's parts for a computer I'm trying to build so I hope they make it.

My replacement for the lost replacement part for the dishwasher is finally on the way, we'll see if this one makes it with the envelope this time.

I do have one mystery box coming in, an Adult has to sign for it, which is odd. Only reason I know it's coming is that a warning came in on my Work cell, so I'm assuming it's from a sales team or something. I'm really curious about it, it's like it was Christmas or something!

:spitlaugh::spitlaugh:

I just received an alert that a package I ordered yesterday would be here today. If that actually happens I will :faint:. :laugh2:

Amazon, and UPS, were awesome (for us) again this year. Since I can’t stand/walk long enough to Christmas shop, online purchasing is my only real option. I’m thankful for the guys/gals that go into making it it all happen...from those working behind the scenes, to those on the front lines! They get all the thumbs up in the world from me!

Hey Diva - Is UPS still having Issues?

I had a DVD make it to ATL Friday night, but the tracking hasn't make sense since then. it said out to delivery on Sat, but immediately change to an arrival message and hasn't updated all day.

Doraville, GA, United States 01/05/2018 3:03 A.M. Arrival Scan
Louisville, KY, United States 01/04/2018 8:38 P.M. Departure Scan
01/04/2018 4:16 P.M. Origin Scan
United States 01/04/2018 11:34 P.M. Order Processed: Ready for UPS

Should I give it another day before complaining to Amazon?

Thanks!

I had another one fall into UPS limbo a few days ago. But it did eventually show up. I think most of them will come if you wait it out.

UPS is still having issues. They are implementing all the Saturday deliveries now for homes and it has thrown things off. I had a package arrive in Atlanta Friday the fifth and have not seen it yet. :emoji_shrug:
