I doubt it. Trump's ego is way too big for that. What if it's all a game to shift support to DeSantis?
What if it's all a game to shift support to DeSantis?
Because this way he and DeSantis are getting loads of air time.Assuming Trump is in on it, that would be awesome, but wouldn't it have been easier for him to simply say "I'm not running in 2024. I fully support DeSantis and urge all my supporters to vote for him".
I have considered that possibility. He could be building up to a hand-off to DeSantis. For the record, and I may be wrong, but I don't think he will announce he's running. I think he will either delay any decision or announce that he isn't running. I'm good with either, or even if he does decide to run.
I think Trump inadvertently shot himself in the foot last week. He misread the populous - once again.
He did, but he's getting a lot of help. The media is taking full advantage of this election to blame it all on Trump. As I said, he probably didn't help some people, but there's a whole lot more wrong than just Trump. Allowing the media to make us blame just him keeps us from solving the other problems.I think Trump inadvertently shot himself in the foot last week. He misread the populous - once again.
Trump helping the media by continuously running his mouth. Trump attacks anyone in the party who disagrees with him or he sees as a threat to campaign against him. This is what the liberal political pundits used to say there was a division within the GOP and they were correct. Trump LOST in 2020 and a lot of Republicans just wanted to move forward and address the issues that mattered to the voters. Not Trump though. He wanted his pound of flesh and kept reminding people of that at all the rallies. Trump was his own worst enemy and it caused a lot of Republicans to become collateral damage. He did, but he's getting a lot of help. Trump had a revolving door at the WH.
I agree the Media and all the institutions the dems control are afraid that Trump will make a comeback for President. They will continue to target him as they have done since 2016.He did, but he's getting a lot of help. The media is taking full advantage of this election to blame it all on Trump. I'm not denying any of that. I'm just saying that if we buy into the media's game that it's ALL Trump's fault, little will change and the GOP will keep losing.Trump helping the media by continuously running his mouth. I'm sorry but Trump is not a leader. Leaders don't cause division. They don't tear people down. They do the opposite. Face the facts because Trump did cause division in the nation and the GOP. He chose to tear people down rather than work with them to gain their support. There's an old saying in the Army, "Take care of your soldiers and they will take care of you." Trump had a revolving door at the WH.
During this election season, Trump's mouth wrote a lot of checks that his ass couldn't cash. He told the voters the candidates he endorsed would win because he endorsed them. You can't blame the news media for not passing on stuff like that. You also have to keep in mind he knew nothing about the majority of those he endorsed. He endorsed them because they all said the same thing, "Trump had the election stolen from him in 2020." Let's face it. Most of them were terrible candidates.I'm not denying any of that. I'm just saying that if we buy into the media's game that it's ALL Trump's fault, little will change and the GOP will keep losing.
We have lots to fix, and much of it has zero to do with Trump. Actually, Trump tried to fix some of it while he was president, but COVID came along and changed everything.
Again, I'm not disagreeing. But if we blame it all on Trump we're playing right into the left's hands.During this election season, Trump's mouth wrote a lot of checks that his ass couldn't cash. I'm not blaming it all on Trump. I'm blaming most of it on him. As far as playing into the left's hands. Trump got played well by the left this election cycle. Trump needs to give politics up. He's now a pariah to the GOP. As soon as more conservatives see that, the better off the party will be.Again, I'm not disagreeing. But if we blame it all on Trump we're playing right into the left's hands.
