There will be those who blindly follow Trump no matter what, like a moth to a flame. 2020 is past and gone and nothing is going to change it. They just need to move on.
 
It will happen in time once he decides not to run, loses in the Primary, or is deemed ineligible to run again. Until then many people will continue to follow him because they trust his ability to lead our country and the GOP.

If Trump really cared about this country more than himself, he would let 2020 go. Look at the huge sacrifice Gerald Ford made for the country. He knew pardoning Nixon would not get him elected, but he did it anyway knowing a long drawn-out trial would only polarize the public further.

That's your opinion and I respect that, others may not agree. It's two years out and he hasn't even announced any decision yet. If he does and runs the table through the Primary I would hope he would gain your support as well as that of others. I certainly will put my support behind the winner of the Primary...with vigor.

If he were to get the nomination, I would hold my nose and vote for him just as I've had to do with Walker.

The reason Trump is insulting DeSantis is that he is afraid DeSantis is becoming more politically popular. That's one reason he's falsely taking credit for DeSantis' accomplishments as governor. DeSantis began reopening Florida while Trump was president and still in favor of the states being closed.
 
Now he's going after Youngkin. Sigh.

That is definitely a factor. I was commenting on a lot of pro-Democrat Facebook ads, and a lot of Democrats were replying to me to argue. AAbout half of them mentioned Trump.

I've never seen such a widespread hatred of anyone. The Democrats did an amazing job of teaching their sheeple to universally hate the man. They are convinced he is the devil in every regard.
 
Intentional on Trump's part? If so, how would this benefit him? I know he's a "stable genius" (his words), but I don't see how all the stuff he's done this week helps him.

I don't see how it helps him at all either. I see the Trump ship starting to take on water.
