I think Sanders h as a very good chance of getting the nomination.

Hillary will squash him like a bug. Or bribe him to go away. She will definitely move left to counteract his policies. Don't forget she has Ace Campaigner Bill in her back pocket as well. He knows from politics.

I don't think so.

Fact is...people just don't like Hillary. She's abrasive and rude. And now they don't trust her. Her poll numbers are showing it.

As Socialist as Sanders is; he's a straight shooter and somewhat likeable. Liberals could easily go for him over Hillary.

Sanders' theme of tax the rich, 15 dollar minimum wage, free college, protectionist trade, and isolationism polls well with ignorant millennials who will likely decide the nominee.

Though really, can you imagine sitting in a class full of students that are only there because it is free?

Students in high school or under typically do not pay for their education. So, yes, most of us know have been in such a class. I have taught such a class for many years.

And there's the problem....too many people (not you) actually believe it's free.

For every person it's "free" to; there is someone working their butt off to pay more taxes than they should so bums can freeload off the system.

Sometimes things sound good in concept; but the reality of them is entirely different.

But how many of them are only there because it's the law? How many of them still end up illiterate?

It's probably not so bad where you're at. But it's terrible here.

The Federal Reserve Bank of New York just published a study that indicated that for every dollar of credit made available at low interest by the government, colleges raise tuition from 55 to 65 cents. Just think what an education would cost if it were "free".

I would be really surprised to see either Clinton or Bush as their party's candidates. They both have too many bad associations. At this point, I'm not ready to call who it would be. I was actually surprised by how well Mr. Sanders is doing on the Democrat side, but, against Clinton, I probably shouldn't be.

On the Republican side, I'm not ready to make any predictions who it will be, though I have a good prediction of several it will not be.

If Sanders gets to the point that it looks like he's going to get the nomination, he'll mysteriously be found dead like several other people on the Clinton Enemy List. :Ninja

Here's a fantastic article detailing how the fix is in for Jeb on the Republican side of the Uniparty (as I've heard it referred to lately). Article is long, and wonky. However, FANTASTIC background and information. From Conservative Treehouse, a conservative political blog.

BTW - if you see the acronym GOPe, it stands for GOP establishment (i.e., for big business, incumbents, anti-little people, anti-Tea Party, etc.).

Have you guys seen #logogate ?

Apparently Scott Walkers logo is just like Americans Best Eyeglasses and they have been having fun with that fact. They are actually pretty cleaver in their tweets.

A couple :

Hahaha Wouldn't you think highly-paid campaign advisors would think of making sure their logo is distinct? At any rate, great for the company playing along.

I told the wife's daughter's husband this weekend, that it is absolutely insane that the only person running for a national political office that I have heard say anything that I could agree with and admire, is a self absorbed, ego maniac, asshat named Donald Trump.

I find that a sad sad commentary on the state of our political parties and our political candidates.

BTW, the son in-law, makes me look like a liberal.
(which I am on some things...I prefer to say I have common sense and empathy)
