Republican Presidential Candidates

If you're having trouble keeping track of who is and is not running for president I found a handy website that summarizes them. It provides links to their own websites and contains Republicans, Democrats, and the various third parties.

I saw a lot of names I didn't know, especially on the Democrat side.

Of course, I'm still waiting for a candidate from any party who I actually like as a potential president, but that's another story.

Good link, but it just reminds me that the list is ridiculous!

True. What I find frustrating is that with such a vast selection, there isn't a good one.

There's one good one... :whistle

We don't need no steenken' list. The candidates will be Hillary and Jeb, and Hillary will win.

Don't count on Hillary winning. Sanders has gained some ground in the polls and now Biden is considering a run as I think he sees Hillary as vulnerable.

I don't think so. I think we'll see two others get the nominations.

OK, but don't come cryin' to me next fall when I'm proven right. The GOP PTB have decreed it.

I would be really surprised to see either Clinton or Bush as their party's candidates. They both have too many bad associations. At this point, I'm not ready to call who it would be. I was actually surprised by how well Mr. Sanders is doing on the Democrat side, but, against Clinton, I probably shouldn't be.

On the Republican side, I'm not ready to make any predictions who it will be, though I have a good prediction of several it will not be.

I don't like either one.

Me, neither, of course. But trust me - the GOP establishment has ordained Jeb, and what they say goes, as we've seen the past few election cycles. I don't see anybody derailing the Hillary train this go-round. The only reason Obama was able to was that he's (half) black.

Be honest. Did anyone ever think that we would actually have a self avowed Socialist not only running for President as a Democrat, but perhaps winning? The problem this presents for Hillary is being forced even further to the left to counter Sanders. That leaves a wide open middle ground. Her other option is to go nuclear and actually use the "S" word to describe Sanders in the hopes of positioning herself as that middle candidate. The Socialist in the room makes for good theater if nothing else.

Don't ask me, I didn't think the last one would win. And he did. Twice.

If Bernie Sanders wins... I am going on the government dole.

I will take advantage of every entitlement benefit I can get my greedy little hands on.

If you can't beat them, then you might as well join them.

:yeah
