You have a higher opinion of half of the country than I do.

Let's say Biden is out by the end of this year. People will have forgotten about all this Afghanistan stuff by the next POTUS election. If Trump runs, it will be all about Trump and how horrible he is. Even if it isn't Trump, whomever runs against her will be made to be the worst person in the world. Combine that with cheating and I'm not confident that she can't win.

This is a very good question from the link above:
A Twitter pal this morning posed an ominous question about the very last stage of withdrawal: At the end, the troops providing security at the airport will also need to be evacuated. Once they pull back and run for the last flight out waiting on the tarmac, what does the throng of desperate Afghans do? Break through and run after them?

Will that plane be able to take off? Will troops need to shoot Afghans who are obstructing its departure?

New estimates are that we left 80 billion in equipment there, including 200 aircraft. All in the hands of the Taliban now. Reports are that ISIS is moving in rapidly, so how much of this weaponry will fall into their hands?

Reports also indicate that Biden was, in fact, warned by the generals that this would happen, but he chose to do it anyway.

FOX played phone calls from American citizens trapped over there, begging the president to help them get out. The people at the other end of the phones said people were being shot and killed left and right, and they feared they would also be killed.

A lot of people are dogging the military, but as of now I think Biden has their hands tied.

IMO, Biden has to be impeached and removed over this. Yeah, I know that means President Kamala, but we'll deal with her later.

People also need to know that the Democrats fully knew that Biden was not mentally fit to serve, many of them said so during the primaries in 2019. They swept it under the run just to defeat Trump. So the Democrat Party is also responsible for this blood bath.
