My Samsung phone just got a major update, and it has new controls to maximize battery life. One setting limits charge to 80%, and the other limits the rate of charge. Articles I read claims it can add years of life to the battery.

Now that I'm home most of the time and not on the phone as much and not monitoring as many email addresses, it is working out fine.

I’m think more of car sized packs. Recharging your car is long now with the last 20% slowed down to same the battery. Doubling the time for the entire charge will make it more impractical
