Electric vehicles....

I’ll still have my land line if the freaking govt would make it capital crime to make a spam call.
Yeah. After my mom passed, I discontinued the landline at her place.

The amount of spam calls... people trying to take advantage of her through the phone was annoying. But it gave me a sure way to get her if her cell phone had been turned off from when she went to church, but did not turn it back on, or if she did not have it charged, or could not locate it. Plus the 4 phones I put in her place, you could also hear if you were outside.

Brick and Mortar Businesses for the most part need land lines still.

That's why I got rid of mine, But now my wife is in the hospital here in Paulding, and every 10 to 15 minutes the spammers are calling her room to sell her Medicare part 'C'. The hospital is aware of it as certain business phones are being spammed as well, but they can't find a solution, You can't tell me that if all of congress was being harassed by callers, that the phone company could do something,, but the phone company is getting big bucks from the spammers!

Truck Hemi surviving—for Ram 2500 and 3500; and other plant news (corrected)

One of the other engineers in my group rented an electric car at Baltimore airport this week. He was trying to charge it tonight before returning it tomorrow as they require it to be 80% of full on return. Well, the two level 2 chargers installed at the office didn't work for various reasons (the building owners said they had been trying to get parts for nearly a year) and he finally had to run a power cord from the loading dock and try level 1 charging for the time he had left. Got about a 3% rise in 3 hours. He was going to try to charge at a mall near by tonight if he could to get it to 80%.

Nope won't have one.
