Covid is right here, and it's getting bad fast.

I'm amazed that so many places and institutions are still mandating the vaccine. Against the current strains of COVID, I see no evidence that it does much, if anything to prevent it or even to lesson symptoms as they claim.

My coworker got COVID at the conference we were at. I tested negative twice so I am in the clear but was around hjm all week. I know of at least 4 others I was in contact with that ended up with it. I was happy to be at an in person conference but it is definitely a place for it to spread. In perspective, you had to be vaccinated to attend so there’s that.
Are you sure he got the Wuhan or just a bad case of Muskrat Love, and laid out for 10 days,,, who really knows,,, do they bring in a note from the doctor or just their mother? I'll bet a lot of people are getting the Wuhan two, three or four times just for the vacation.

I wish we would all agree the vaccine no longer offers protection from any of the variants. Stop giving it to people... it is a ruse.

They want to vax babies 6 months old to kids 5 years old saying then they can go out in public once vaccinated.. how stupid. Kids hardly get any symptoms when they do get it.

Big Push here on the left coast to stab all babies...sick sick people here.

I'm going to pass.

Can't say I trust anything about these shots any more.

I have known too many people who suffered injury from them as well. And yet, the forces that be (world wide) want to stop anyone from reporting it or speaking about it. Something is terribly wrong. Count me out.

I've been reading a lot of new data the last couple of days. The vast majority of people getting COVID right now are vaccinated people who have not previously had COVID. No, not because of the vaccine, I have found no evidence that it make you more susceptible; but because these people have no natural immunity from previous infection.

The vaccines are all but worthless on the newest variants. Natural immunity is not 100% effective either, but the newer stats indicate it's doing much better than the vaccines to prevent infection, or should I say reinfection. So those of you who have evaded it so far, you will probably get it over the next few months.

I said awhile back that almost everyone will get this sooner or later, and I still believe it to be true. The newer variants are going back and getting people who didn't get it before.

The updated vaccines might help, they are supposedly tailored to the new variants. But I suspect not nearly as many people will get the newer boosters. Many people who were vaccinated are done with getting more, and COVID, at least for now, is not not the scary creature it was. We're learning to live with it much as we do the flu.

Time will tell just how long natural immunity, including the T-cell factor, will last, and whether or not our society will eventually become somewhat immune to COVID. Of course, future mutation possibilities will also factor into that; but I doubt anyone can predict what will happen there.
