Covid is right here, and it's getting bad fast.

I've got the Covid... for the 4th time !!!

Went to a baby shower over the weekend, then started getting a headache Tuesday afternoon.

By midnight I knew exactly what was happening... fever, chills, pounding headache, extreme fatigue.

Aspirin, vitamins, herbal tea, and plenty of water.

Everything tastes weird... :sick::sick::sick:

So far, this one seems to be a mild variant.

Slept over 11 hours last night, woke up feeling about 30% better today.

Antibodies seem to be kicking in and reducing the severity and duration of symptoms...

Damn you Wuhan !!!

I'm gonna kick your ass !!!

Hope you get over it quickly!

A co-worker tested positive yesterday. She had similar symptoms yesterday, but is feeling much better today.

Feel better soon.

I have talked to a few people who have gotten COVID 4 times or more. Last time I had my antibodies tested, the nurse said she had it four times, and she was fully vaccinated and boosted.

Not sure why some people get it over and over. Weird!

Oh, That sucks! 4 times...:(

I went to a 5000 person convention in Las Vegas last week. There were 6 of us that were together. One gal said because of all the people and traveling on the plane, she was going to do the covid test when she got home. She came up positive May 20th.

All 5 of them are now positive with classic headache, fever, chills fatigue, body aches.

I have been using the "free" rapid test from Uncle Sam, and so far I am negative. I left a day before they did on Thursday. I did not have as much time around her, so I seem to be covid free. I am hoping since it has been 8 days since I was around patient zero, I am in the clear.

Luckily it seems to only be two bad days, then cold like symptoms.

I still have not gotten covid, even though I have worked with the public this whole time.

I am about to go to a conference in Vegas in a few weeks (and a vacation there next week). I am not overly cautious as I have been at large sporting events and concerts crowded in with a lot of people and have been fine. I will just continue doing what I always do.

I'm with you... the overly cautious were the ones who came down with it.

I keep thinking maybe I have been exposed a little at several times and my body fought it off and I must have some sort of antibodies. I think that is what our immune system is supposed to do. I never wore a mask unless it was mandated, and then when no one was around I had it in my pocket or hanging off my ear on one side.

Have fun in Vegas... it had started to get 100 degree hot, so dress cool.

Yeah, just a few virus strands are not enough to make a bad case of whatever it is. But it *can be* enough to trigger an immune response and have your body kill off the virus and remember it. I suspect you are correct, getting a few from walking by someone in the hotel, but not enough to make you sick enough to notice.

My brother and his wife are supposed to come down weekend of the 12th, we haven't seen each other in like four years. It's also grand #2's birthday.

He called me last night...they just got back from DollyWood and have been feeling bad for 3-4 days. He took a home test and it was positive. He's vaxed and boosted, symptoms are mild so far. Hopefully they will be OK by weekend after next. They are in the 70s, so hope the symptoms stay mild.

No, Just No!

It is on commercials here all the time telling parents to vax their 5 to 12 year olds ...and when the one for zero to 5 year olds is approved, be sure to get your child "protected" once it comes out.

I just wonder why any parent would do this to their child who has zero chance of having more than mild cold like symptoms for 2 or 3 days.

Evil lives in Pfizer and Anthony Fauci and all the rest who have pushed for children and the under 40 to take a shot.

Pretty good article. COVID cases are up, but most of us have had it with all the restrictions and stuff, and we don't care anymore. And, it just isn't nearly as bad as it was. Hopefully, it won't get bad again.

My dad said he felt "puny" earlier last week and finally tested positive for Covid on Friday. Actually he was positive for Covid and the flu so it's probably the same thing. Anyway, at 81 he's doing well overall. He had a low fever for a day, a mild cough for a few days but otherwise he was just tired. Thankfully he hasn't had any breathing issues. His doctor told him not to worry about taking any additional medications other than TheraFlu since he was beyond danger time frame. He's just isolating for another week.

My brother and his wife came through just fine. Neither of them ever got really sick and they have both now tested negative.

COVID now is not anything near what it was. Let's all hope and pray it doesn't get worse again.

A co-worker tested positive yesterday. She had similar symptoms yesterday, but is feeling much better today.

This co-worker got pretty sick after feeling better for one day. She was out of work for about a week, but never got sick enough to go to the hospital. She just tested negative over the weekend.

I "reported" on this some time ago. I've read that the FDA drug their feet on reviewing it, and they went to other countries to seek approval, and got it in most cases. Now it sounds like the FDA might give them the time of day.

The vax isn't looking as good as it initially did, it apparently can cause myocardis as well.

Interestingly...this was a very small company of less than 100 people before our government gave them 1.8 billion bucks to develop a vaccine.

I'll graciously give my dose to some other person who feels the need to take it. I certainly wouldn't rest well at night knowing I got it and may have possibly kept another person from getting it. It's the Christian thing to do.

For the overwhleming majority of younger healthy people under 80, it is a relatively minor illness... obesity is huge factor.
It is clear that the vacines are ineffective with new variants and inferior to naturally aquired immunity.

We were told to follow the science, but that ship has sailed in favor of Big Pharma profits...:mad::mad:

Get healhy, take your vitamins, and stay hydated... you'll be fine.
