Covid is right here, and it's getting bad fast.

Unfortunately I am now included in the current number, whatever it is. I started feeling bad Tuesday and decided to get tested today. I popped positive with a rapid test, the Queen was negative so they also gave her the 48hr test to to confirm. I’m hoping to get the call to get the antibody infusion tomorrow.

That sucks. Hopefully you have a mild case and it goes away quickly.

Good to get the antibody infusion!

More potential good news for treating COVID.

It is great that the doctors will have more tools to keep people from becoming critically ill.

I do think that the goal of having a very expensive new drug to have the government pay for was one of the reasons the corrupt politicians, CDC, WHO, and media will not admit that other drugs that have been used for decades for other ailments or conditions, that cost pennies, also work.

The amount of "authorities" who used to work for "Big Pharma" seems suspicious to me.

I carry this card everywhere I go.

(actually, mine has a blonde rather than the girl shown below .)

When asked for my 'proof of covid vaccination card', this is what I show.

..... and, yes. I'm completely serious.

Is this your card?

'Plus-size Hooters' in booty shorts spark debate: We are 'sexy and confident'

But the band of buxom beauties, from Hattiesburg, Mississippi, isn’t employed by Hooters. In fact, they were only wearing the brand’s titillating togs as a group Halloween costume.

Paxlovid and Ivermectin are both protease inhibitors, but you know which one the FDA and CDC will tell you to take. Oh, and with Paxlovid they want you to take ritonavir.

A protease inhibitor....isn't that what ivermectin has been shown to do...?:dunno:

I’m sure it’s safe and effective on arrival. Anything but ivermectin and regeneron.

We're calling it: "Iverdroxychloromectin"

So, it looks like ivermectin, acts identical to ivermectin on a chemical level, but this one has a patent that senators can get rich off of?

Captain’s Log - Day 2 Quarantine Entry:

This crap is for the birds. I got s&@* to do and it’s tempting to go outside and do yard chores but my better sense says not to tempt fate. Overall it’s mainly just aches and pains, drainage, and sore throat. I’m about to give it the J-man Ninja Judi chop. B/P and oxygen levels are perfect and have not dwindled at all so I’’ll just sit here and wait it out.

New grandson went home today, all are well, that’s all that matters to me.

Have you gotten the WuFarts yet?

This has been by far the worst day of symptoms. We drove to Alpharetta for the antibody infusion only to find out I was running a 103.2 fever which almost disqualified me. They called the Resident doctor in for a consult, he agreed to proceed. The infusion was painless and took only about 20 minutes. Then they check vitals every 15 minutes for an hour. I couldn’t have asked for a better g roup of doctors. By the time I left the fever was down to 102, I just checked again and it’s now 99.2 so it’s headed in the right directions. My lung remain clear, they check them then decided no X-rays were needed which was a relief. Oxygen levels did drop to 90 for the first time but tonight are back up to 93. They were very clear, if I get any worse I am to go to the ER so I’m praying that doesn’t happen. Our daughter also tested positive today so that’s a concern. She and her family are living with us while we build our homes so it’s like one big Petri dish around here. So far the Queen, our SIL, and our grandson are negative.

The Queen got the first round of the Moderna V today. Once I recover I will wait the 90 days then get my first round. We were never anti-vax but do believe it should be left up the the individual. After it hitting close to home it’s time for us to use common sense. In our case we are now comfortable with moving forward with it.

This crap sucks….really bad.
