Covid is right here, and it's getting bad fast.

If I quit doing what I'm doing, I'll be doing nothing; then I won't know when I'm finished.

My routine: work from home / gym for an hour or two / grocery store twice a week / cue up Netflix -- Wash - Rinse - Repeat

I figured out a long time ago that if you're doing nothing, you are always finished and therefore have time for a nap!!

My dad just sent this regarding their small community:

“The virus is wrapping up our neighborhood. Karen, Derwood, Bobbie, Dewain, Dennis, a cousin, the “L”family, and LD have it with several in the hospital with pneumonia and virus.”

I told him to stay home if he can, he turns 80 in March and doesn’t need to take any risk.
 
Sound Daughter just got messaged that the girl she visited on New Years Day just had her test come back positive. She felt bad on Sunday the 3rd and took the test on Monday or so. *if* she was contagious with no symptoms on the 1st, we may have it.

I'm so messed up from not sleeping and dealing with my parents that I may not survive getting this thing. (I'm overweight too)

What a freaking mess.

Relax, take it a day at a time, do some meditation and remember,,, God never puts more on your plate than he knows you can handle.

You'll be fine.
 
SIL and daughter bring the kids over to the house last Saturday so that they could go out to dinner. That afternoon they had been at a birthday party for SIL's niece. Monday they find out SIL's cousin now has it and niece's grandma and father tested positive. So daughter went to Paulding Meadows today to take a test and calls me to say her car is over heating, come help! Problem was low coolant level which was easily fixed, but I asked her how her test turned out and she said she won't know for 48 hours. So I adjusted my mask a little better and told her to stay 6 feet away from me,,, that got me the dirtiest look I've ever seen her make.
Point being, sometimes there is little you can do but exercise good judgement while we carry on with life.

Oh yeah, my wife's car which has run for 7 years and 125,000 miles with almost no issues decided to throw a code yesterday. Camshaft timing over advanced. Great. Can be anything from the oil is low/dirty to timing chain jumped and needs to be replaced $$$.

We're Number One !!!!!!
 
Our church has cancelled all on site services as of this week. Going to be all virtual again. (Assuming they can get somebody to replace me as video guy)
