Covid is right here, and it's getting bad fast.

And there you have it:
"America faces many national security threats, and the Navy is suffering a historic recruiting crisis. There's no good reason to keep these trained and experienced warriors from serving," Berry said.

I don't think I've gotten it unless it was asymptomatic, but I'm basically a hermit....
I have not gotten it and I have been working with the public everyday... sometimes for 36 hours straight when everyone else was sick, and out due to testing positive and on a 10 day quarantine.

I rebelled at wearing a mask, and only did if I had to go into a store for instance.

Odds are, you will eventually. Maybe just from a trip to PetSmart to get cat food, but you'll likely get around someone who has it at some point.

Thankfully, it's not that big of a deal anymore. Omicron was a gift from God.

I started thinking I wouldn't get it because I'm blood type O and had been exposed multiple times. But the Delta didn't care about blood type, and the newer variants are far more easily transmitted, though mild in symptoms.

Of interest...I went to a podiatrist yesterday, having a problem with my foot.

I walked in, saw the receptionist without a mask. I asked her if masks were required, she answered it was up to me. So I didn't wear one. The doctor didn't wear one either.

It was refreshing!
I finished five weeks of physical therapy last week and they required everyone to wear a mask. Sucked.

Yeah, they make us wear a mask in Ortho Rehab, I noticed that I would have sinus problems that evening. I finally decided it was the mask causing extra pressure in my sinus cavities when I was huffing puffing for an hour. Might be a lot of interesting knowledge that comes out of this deal.

What he said here is mostly correct; it's no longer a pandemic, probably more of an endemic.

But if he really means it, why hasn't he rescinded his mandates?
This is interesting.

But according to CNN, an administration official told the outlet that "the President's comments do not mark a change in policy toward the administration's handling of the virus, and there are no plans to lift the Public Health Emergency."

It's about having control over the masses. If there is a spike in covid cases as we approach the November election, the left will make a big push in blue states to mail ballots out to all the people so they don't lose congressional seats.
