Braves 2022

Very early in the season but Braves are in full suck mode as of now. Pitching is bad and hitting is anemic. I think the hitting will come around but the pitching worries me. I won't dog them too much if they don't wake up until a couple of months in. It is a very long season.
 
The Braves won tonight over the Marlins... The home plate umpire was all over the place...calling strikes way out of the zone and inconsistent. Anyways, glad the Braves won. My son will be at the game tomorrow evening..chop chop
 
The Queen and I were there tonight. It was a perfect baseball night...and the Braves never trailed. Our SIL gave us free tickets including a parking pass. He got them from a client but he's not a sports fan. The cheapest parking we saw was $30, glad ours was included. Of course we made it up at concessions. The Queen wasn't going home without some funnel cake fries. I walked all over the park looking for them but it was worth it. Banked some good brownie points for when I want something.
 
We're watching the women's college softball tournament instead. Did I mention they were women?
 
Just like last year, the Braves can't seem to get above .500. They are currently 9.5 games behind first place. But, as proven last year, they could still turn the season around.
