Braves 2022

This is a major issue I have with professional sports in general and MLB in particular. I get the clubs/owners make a gazillion dollars off of telecast/broadcast/advertising/merchandise rights. Much like any other corporation in a capitalistic system the owners expect returns on their investments. The minimum salary for an MLB player in 2021 on the roster in the big show was $570,500.00. It must be excruciating to try to live off such an unfair wage for playing a child's game. I am very happy the Brave's won the Series and I watched and cheered every game because my grandfather and grandmother loved them when they sucked hind teat. They are the only MLB team I support because Atlanta is my home town. I currently cannot give a rat's rear about a bunch of spoiled ass ball players or their damn commie union representation. JMO.

Well said, and what no ones talks about are the gazillions the owners spend on salaries, travel and equipment. Not many people stop to think that each team plays half of their games on the road each year,,, and I don't think they stay at fleabag hotels or eat at the local greasy spoon. There are some very good reasons why the players don't become owners!!!

Good, the longer the game takes the less news coverage of Biden's failures we'll have to endure. Oh, wait, nevermind...they don't cover his failures.
