They are correct, it's time to come together. Trump will be carrying the ball for us, and all of us who truly care about taking our country back from Biden and the Socialist Democrats need to get on the same team.

Our next president is going to be either Trump or Biden, unless Biden is replaced, and in that case it might be even worse. We can wish it was different, but this is reality. No emotion, no like or dislike, no hate. Just pure fact. To defeat the Democrats, we'll all have to come together behind Trump. Before you blame him; he is winning this fair and square with overwhelming majorities in the primaries. So it's truly a case of the Will of The People.

I will say it again, the way the left is killing the conservative candidates is to link them with being a "Trump Conservative."

It alienates those independents who would vote conservative, or against the communists, but who have bought into the "Russia Russia Russia," "Jan 6 Jan 6 Jan 6 ad nauseam," "losing our Democracy" bull shit the MSM has parsed out since Trump first announced he would run for President back in 2015.

Here is how I feel....comment from the peanut gallery from the Fox article:

There are probably thousands of conservatives that can beat the vegetable in charge and his throngs of Communists. To be exact a solid conservative not named Trump would trounce Biden but nope. Here we go on a race with our own 80 year old to beat the other 80 year old by the skin of his teeth.

All of this messianic talk about Trump needs to stop. He is the force that is keeping the Democrats relevant. He should sit back and let a younger, more competent conservative take over and put some real victories on the board. With all of this said I will vote for him, but please people, let's get real for a moment.

Granted, there are some that think he is a messiah. I am not one of them, I'm just realistic enough to know he's all we have to stand against Joe Biden (or someone worse) continuing to destroy our country.

Having said, I find myself comfortable with the prospect of his policies and governance. I think he'll lead us well, his mouth not withstanding. I would have also been comfortable with DeSantis, and maybe one other, but Trump is clearly going to be the nominee, so it's time to get behind him.

I don't mean to insult anyone in particular, but many conservatives are unwillingly being influenced by the left and the media, and this manifestation of hate for Trump stems from that. Yes, I know Trump doesn't help himself in that regard, but he's not the monster some have been convinced of. I do believe he is a patriot who wants what most of us here wants for America, and he's one of the few who is willing to sacrifice almost anything to try and fix this mess. I wish people would at least give him credit for that; he could have walked away with fantastic riches, and much of what has happened to him since leaving the presidency likely would not have come about. If I had a fraction of the fight left in me that he has, I wouldn't have sold my business. But unlike him, I want to get away from the crappola. He's fighting battles every day that would horrify us regular people (and even rich people like @MudFlap). And no, it's not for his ego. I have to give him credit for that.

Crazy idea...but there are some folks that are smart enough to know the facts and are then able to form an opinion about Trump based on those facts. Those opinions will help these people decide to vote for him in November or not. These folks are not simply being unwillingly influenced.
 
Hey, it's not over until I get to vote. The Florida primary is March 19, and my ballot will have all the candidates that have dropped out. The ballot includes Trump, Ramaswamy, Hutchinson, Haley, DeSantis, Christie, and Binkley. (Huntley is not included. And if you understood that, you are old).

It's like he's saying the only intelligent conservatives are the Trumpers. The others are nothing but dumbasses easily duped by the left.

And there is part of the problem; you see only the two extremes, Trumpers and Trump haters.

Most of the conservatives out there are like me, not in either camp. Just common sense people using rational thinking instead of taking sides and thinking Trump is either the messiah or satan. People like me who see things based in fact and reality. We neither love him nor hate him, we just see that he's the only hope of taking Biden/Biden replacement out.

. The last time I had to defend being pragmatic was when I used to post at P'Scum. At least then, I could write it off as dealing with Democrats.
 
Hey I voted today and voted DeSantis. He's the one that I think was the best candidate for President.

Will Trump win anyway? Likely. So was my vote wasted? Nope. It would have been wasted if I voted for Trump only because I wanted to vote for the "winner".

Unless he's a total idiot, or dies before Nov 11, I'll hold my nose and vote for him in the fall. But at least I can say he wasn't the candidate *I* voted for.

I'd also be shocked if Biden agrees. I won't be shocked if Newsom agrees when he replaces Biden.
 
It is now pointless to discuss or debate anything related to the Republican Primary. We can only pray that there actually is a General election in November and that DJT is the winner. If he isn’t then our country as a whole deserves exactly what she gets. One thing we can do is to speak positive regarding our supposed nominee, we never know how our words and actions can affect an undecided voter.

Trump has wanted to debate Biden all along. He didn't debate in the primaries because he had them wrapped up.

I don't understand why some people seem to want Biden to be replaced? So there might be a better chance of beating Trump? Isn't this what we DON'T want?
