Ronna McDaniel, chairwoman for the Republican National Committee (RNC), has reportedly told former President Donald Trump that she will step down from her position following the South Carolina primary later this month.

Should Ronna McDaniel follow through on her alleged pledge to leave, the former president will then reportedly promote the chairman of the North Carolina Republican Party, Michael Whatley, as her replacement, according to several sources who spokewith the New York Times. A new election will take place within the committee.

Good. I'm not a hater, but it's time for new blood.
 
All I know is in California, there was a chance with the recall to get rid of Newsom. No money was spent by the RNC on radio or TV adds to show all the horrible things Newsome had done to the state.

The RNC could have had adds to get people energized to go out and vote him out.

The person who was getting the most votes was a conservative, Larry Elder. They did not need to promote Larry, they only needed to remind people what we had lived through with the Newsom hypocrisy of the Covid lock downs, school closures while his kids went to private school and never missed any in class teaching, while the masses had remote learning for almost 3 years.

They arrested people for surfing, paddleboarding, and sitting on the beach all by themselves in the name of Covid.

The closed down every park for children, wrapping the swings and playground equipment with caution tape and putting up orange plastic fencing to keep the kids from playing outside.

Wineries and other businesses in 19 California counties were ordered to shut down or restrict indoor operations to the public under COVID-19 restrictions issued by Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom, but his winery wasn't one of them.

He ate indoors in a restaurant while all other restaurants could only serve people outdoors or do takeout.

He sat in a skybox at a sprots game without a mask while mandating everyone else had to mask up.


There was so much that the RNC could have run adds over and over of Newsom's hypocrisy to energize people to vote their mail in ballots.

Hell, they could have paid people to harvest ballots like the dems did because it is legal in California.

So yeah, it is way past time to get rid of her sorry butt. She is a RINO.
 
I thought 246 voters participating in the caucus was pretty low, so I searched for data and found this:

Total number of registered voters - 53,854
Democratic voters - 34,281 (63.66%)
Republican voters - 1,975 (3.67%)
Independent voters - 16,246 (30.17%)
Other parties - 1,351 (2.51%)

Only 4% of voters in the US Virgin Islands are Republicans, and only 13% of them voted in the caucus. Granted, it's only the Virgin Islands that has 4 Republican delegates, but it looks like there is no excitement for the GOP there.
 
Michigan is where 16 Republicans were charged with felonies in a fake elector scheme. Fake electors in six other battleground states sent certificates to Congress falsely declaring Trump the winner of the election in their state despite confirmed results showing he had lost. Georgia and Nevada also have charged fake electors. Republicans who served as false electors in Wisconsin agreed to a legal settlement in which they conceded that Joe Biden won the election and that their efforts were part of an attempt to improperly overturn the 2020 results.
