Senate Debate

Madea

zip a dee doo dah
Monday, August 6 (at either 6pm or 7pm)

Paulding Chamber.

Wonder how this will effect Heath's challenge?

This is the date/time/location for Paulding that Heath proposed. I guess Carruth took the bait.

Last I heard Carruth had not committed to the debates. Waiting to hear for sure. I know I am not going to a debate unless it is really a debate.

How can it be a debate when they will both say what they think we want to hear and then once elected do whatever the hell they wanted to do in the first place. Was that too cynical? :)

Sounds as though the glove was thrown down. Wonder how many folks even know what that term means?

Comes from the term "throwing down the gauntlet" which was the glove worn by the medieval knights. Hows that? lol

Quite frankly, I assumed it was something scheduled other than Heath's challenge. So, I don't know. Maybe Carruth took the bait. But, I think I have a Touchdown Club meeting that night. :(

I missed it if that is the case. I think all of the debates and places have been arranged by the Heath camp and then the challenge went out to Carruth to be there.

From Mr. Carruth's FB page in answer to this:

Last night, Mr. Heath issued a press release with pre-determined dates and times of a potential debate. He did this without conferring with our campaign. Here is our response to Mr. Heath. This is another attempt to distract the voters from the real issues of the 31st District. If and when we receive the requested documents concerning both the formal ethics complaint against Mr. Heath and his signed Lobbyist gift cap pledge we will pass it along.
