There is a simple cure to all this "funds exchange".......SLOW DOWN!

True, but why are they on this particular road, so consistently? :dunno

Because people continue to speed, and drive aggressively at the bottleneck.

I see them speed up there to get in, but I see just as many slow down to let them in. :dunno I also do not see accidents right there. As LisaC said it is usually down by Hiram Sudie.
I do not see more speeding or aggressive driving there verses other areas in the county that I personally have thought, where is that officer when you need them?
(I am not saying no one speeds or no one drives aggressively, just does not seem more so there. It does seem to be an easier and safer (for both the officer and the driver) place to ticket than some of the other roads.)
I saw it just about every time I was driving that road. Lots of speeding, lots of people trying to hurry up and cut in front of the lead car at the bottleneck. Then folks would fly down that road, unless they were stopped by people turning into the water dept. The most dangerous part is where Hiram Sudie is, though.

:dunno How long ago? Maybe it was just the time of day. I do avoid it during rush hour, but I could understand more police presence at that time.
Hiram Sudie is horrible. That intersection is crazy. People start going downhill, pick up speed and wind up flying over to the other side.
Like I said, and others, if you ask about where the police are the first thing many people say is Bill Carruth.

Its nothing against you, I know M is a police officer and I try not to say things on here that some might take personally, but when the ticket on that road was brought up, I could not help myself. :)) Like I said I get daily updates from different friends on where they are. I have never (knock on wood)had a speeding ticket and it is not because I have been lucky. I just don't speed. I really would rather arrive late than dead, so it isn't a personal beef I have. Just wanted you to know that. :)

No problemo. I didn't take it that way. We moved from there in April 2011. I saw it all the time then cuz I was on that road almost daily. The Hiram-Sudie intersection is the worst section. I'm thinking some of the patrolling may be to slow folks down before they reach that section.

Slow down before air born is always a good idea!

So many of the wrecks at that intersection are because people are driving with their head placed firmly up their butt.
