:laugh

I didn't realize that it was THAT Pat Hughes!! :cantbelievemyeyes :cantbelievemyeyes :cantbelievemyeyes

Is this the owner of the other website? (I just caught HB's post and now with yours....I think I am thinking of the correct person)

Yes.

Interesting.

Please don't tell me that this is the one your sweet son is supporting. If it is, I want to know what he knows. ;D
No. It is also not the one he said we would move. :))

Go ahead, I'm ready....

Scoot over... :drunkdiva :drunkdiva ( I do not do popcorn so I doubled up the drinks)

I have no problem with Pat Hughes, I like him.
In fact, he and I agree on a lot of political issues.
(we disagree a lot also)
I do not have to decide between him or Todd as I do not live in that district.
I know Todd also and have nothing but the utmost respect for him.

Isn't it odd I am in Post 2 and you are not? :))

Just for the record, my post above was in fun.

I am quite sure Mr. Hughes is a good man, it's just that our political beliefs are very different.

:dunno I have not a clue but I figured you were just joking. Come now, you know we do not take you seriously. :taunt

Maybe because of the circumstances (both local forum admins, etc), I didn't want anyone thinking I was dogging him. On a personal level, I have absolutely no issue with him.

I never doubted for a moment that it was in jest.
My post was not a response to your post at all.
BTW, I never said said he was a good man, I just said I liked him.

Post two doesn't want me in it.
We have two houses and both are just outside Post 2's area.

One house is in Post 1 and the other is in Post 3.
Post 2 stops at Bakers Bridge Rd.

Ha. Who let their two year old draw the districts, in the dark, with crayons? :))

I never have understood some most of the lines for districts. :dunno Heck we have kids going to different schools that live across the street (same subdivision) from each other.

In reality, Pubby and I do agree on some issues; however, he is a lot more liberal than I am when it comes to other issues. I do wish him well (and anyone who runs for public office, for that matter). This may be just the representation that Post 2 needs. He says that he will listen to the folks in that district. Hopefully, if he is elected, he will serve them well.

Now, HB - start talking girl. We need to liven this board up a bit!

Thankfully, there are other choices for those in Post 2. I think generally Pat Hughes is a decent guy, although a bit looney. Hell would have to freeze over before I voted for him for anything.

Great. I respect your opinion so the list is getting smaller. I feel that same way about another candidate. :))

He will listen to those that agree with him... the rest are a bunch of "knuckle draggers."

Really? That is not anything I heard today and I spoke with a couple people. (I do not know him, nor anything about him except his runs a board, so I asked around.) Are you speaking of him personally or his online persona? I know that many of us are quite different in real life. ;D
