I'm not an Obama fan at all, but, in fairness, #1, #2, and #4 are private records. These records are sealed for all of us unless we choose to release them under FERPA, 1974. Even Bush refused to release his college records (though they were leaked in violation of the law). As for #3, it was not a thesis like a PhD thesis. It was most likely tossed by the professor.
For #5, his selective service record is 61-1125539-1. He registered on September 4, 1980. I'm not sure what is being hidden here. It's easy to look up.
For #6, he released summary medical information and was pronounced to be in excellent health.
#7 and #8: a politician's voting record is public information and not sealed. I guess his personal calendar is not released because I couldn't find anything about it. But, again, it's private.
#9 is true but incomplete. He never released a specific list of his own clients, though a general list of the firm's clients was released. In 2008, he did confirm some clients he was specifically asked about, including ACORN.
#10 and #1 belong in birther conspiracy theorist territory, especially since they have been released.
#12: Personally, I don't care. It's a private thing. But, he was baptized in Reverend Jeremiah Wright's wacky church in 1988. Frankly, the wackiness of this church should be the concern, not the baptism. Also, his convenient withdrawal from the church should be the concern when the media started investigating it, again, not his baptism.
#13: She can resume law practice at any time. All she has done is inactivate her license so she doesn't have to continue taking classes. I've done the same thing with my Pennsylvania teaching license. What I've been doing in North Dakota the last 16 years doesn't count in Pennsylvania, and they will cancel my licence if I hadn't deactivated it.
#14: Not true. Laura Bush, for example, had at least 18, and (though this is emotional) I wouldn't be surprised if Hillary Clinton had more.
The original from which this is taken had two more claims:
#15: Obama did not take foreign student aid. That was a flat-out lie.
#16: He did not travel to Pakistan on a foreign passport and Pakistan did not ban US passports at that time.
I think he has been a weak, ineffective president. But, that doesn't make everything bad about him true. This particular meme has been debunked many times.
There is plenty that's actually real to use to attack both Obama and Carson. Neither one requires us to make stuff up.
