Prayer requests

Man, that was quick. Sorry to hear that.

Yeah, in less than a week, he went from talking and playing with his great grand-kids to passing away. I was surprised to get the call this afternoon after just hearing about hospice care this morning.

In some ways I suppose that was a blessing, it’s just difficult for friends and family who are left the grieve.

Well, they told dad today that there is nothing else they can do for him at the Cancer center. His Platelet count is just too low. (19). Can't give chemo in his condition.

They are arranging Hospice. He's 86, and is ready. They said it could be anytime from tomorrow up to 6 months. This year has sucked, but at least we've had warning that our time with him on this Earth is very limited and I've been saying everything that I wanted to tell him but had never gotten around to it.

Prayers for peace for my mom. Her mental condition is such that she's having a hard time comprehending what's going to happen and what will happen with her.

I am so sorry.

Glad you can spend time this precious time with him..

Update on the MIL. She's been in and out of the hospital for a couple of weeks now. Every time they send her home, she starts having trouble breathing and back she goes. Her BP is all over the place and we think she's having mini-strokes as well.

"She who adores me" got to work an hour today, and then had to leave to rush to the hospital. Given her mom's dementia, they let "She who adores me" stay with her, but she cannot go out and come back in and no one else is allowed in. So she's trapped there until MIL gets to come home, and as of now the chart says 9-5.

She's going to be exhausted! This is such a tough situation, and COVID isn't helping. I feel helpless because there's nothing I can do to help. Maybe they will let me take wife some clothes or something, but we'll have to get permission just for that.

Prayers and good juju appreciated.

Sorry to hear that GD. Our prayers are with your family, I know it's a tough row to hoe.
