Prayer requests

Y'all say a prayer for "She who adores me" if you would. All the stress with her mother's health is getting to her, we're at the emergency room now with her BP sky high.
Oh no, sorry to hear that. Hope they get her bp down soon. Prayers for her and ya'll.

Sorry to hear that. BP is easy to control, bur the stress of her trials and tribulations is not. Find some way to help her feel better about the situation that will help her rest. My wife went through that situation with her mother who lived with us. We finally got care givers to help during the day so that wifey could get out and do things that relaxed her. Treat her to a mani-pedi or a massage,,, anything to break the cycle of despair. Prayers sent, best of luck!

She's home. All tests came back good, seems to be due to stress and anxiety. She will have to try and better deal with all that.

Now she's trying to decide whether or not to watch the debate. It might have her right back at the ER.

Thanks, everyone.

BTW...haven't posted about her mom for awhile, but the situation is getting really bad. Her mom has episode almost daily where she thinks she's dying, and she gets very mean and hard to deal with. This is causing a lot of stress on "She who adores me" and her sisters. The pathway is somewhat unclear at this point, we're just waiting on God to show us the way.

Well, when it rains it pours.

First off on the mother-in-law...this situation continues to get worse, she is convinced she's about to die and she gets very abusive, even physically violent at times. It's all her daughters can do to handle her. They can't continue like this, especially with things getting worse. There's no money there, and nursing homes are all but impossible given the current epidemic.

Now on top of that, my daughter is due to give birth at any moment, and the son-in-law just tested positive for COVID. My daughter is mildly ill as well, and the youngest girl is running a fever. They won't let hubby into the hospital with her with a positive test, and if my daughter tests positive, they will take the baby now. Problem with that is, she would not get to see or nurse the baby until she is clear of COVID. Whether they will let mom or me in to be with her and/or keep the baby is unknown, but if so we would have to be COVID tested with a negative first. The test my son-in-law took was a 15 min test, and they are notorious for false positives, so he and my daughter are going tomorrow morning to get a "real" test done. Problem is, it's 2-3 days until they get the results.

So my family has multiple messes on our hands at the moment.

Prayers, thoughts, good juju appreciated.

Wow, looks like a tough time ahead for a while. Sorry my friend.

Dang, that’s a lot to handle all at once. Let us know if we can do anything for anyone and we will definitely pray for everyone.

Sending prayers. Keep the faith, it will all work out! In these time I don't think they will let you or the misses be there with her, and I'd be surprised if they let the father in without covid. They are very strict about even dropping things off at the front desk for patients.

That's what worries me. I can't stand the thought of my baby girl (she's 31, but still my baby girl) going through childbirth without a hand to hold. I would do it even if she has COVID, but I doubt they will let me. Frustrating!
