Notice she said "verified" and nothing else beyond that. Funny, my understanding is that each account is already verified when setting it up for the first time. Normally they require a name and valid email or phone number. I'm sure there are ways to easily go around it but for the average honest person verification is already established. Laws don't stop criminals.

She says people's names should be next to what they say on social media so their pastor and family members can see it. That's far more than just saying people should be verified.

It's not so much that their pastors and family members can see their posts, but giving the government the ability to identify those who disagree with it quickly.

Regardless, the whole idea is stupid. Just contact the platform and find out who created the account if there's a need. The information is there, or at least suppose to be.
 
With my luck, she will be all we have to chose to vote for after the primary.

I swear each presidential election starts out with candidates that might finally make our country run like a Constitutional Republic should.

... then, in the end, we are stuck with yet another communist career politician who does not understand or value the constitution.

Trump was truly the only president that tried to run the USA in a way that protected Americans, put America first, and gave us our constitutional liberties.

Too bad we let the communist DNC take him out with mail in ballots, the FBI hiding Hunter Biden's lap top, Fake media reports, and the FBI controlling Twitter, Facebook, and other social media by blocking conservative voices by banning them, all the while the FBI, which spread lies about Russia and Trump, spied on Trump, and leaked all sorts of fake and inflammatory messages about Trump.

It will be like finding out that JFK was killed by the government. No one wants to admit it, but now we all know it is true.

All the candidates have said something I disagree with, DeSantis included.

If I wanted a candidate that was right on every single issue, I would run. :goldcup:

Seriously...to expect 100% perfection from any candidate is just probably not realistic. I think we sometimes point out relatively minor flaws in candidates just to justify our support for the one we want. As I've said...my mission is to defeat Joe Biden and the Socialist Democrats. If the candidate to do that is Trump, DeSantis, or Haley; that's just fine with me and I will support them. I still don't know for sure who I will vote for in the primary. It would be easier if all the legal stuff wasn't hanging over Trump's head, but I have no doubt that is why they are charging him with all of it. I have a real problem with playing by the Democrat's rules, which is exactly allowing Trump's legal problems to affect our vote is doing.
 
True story


Back before the 2016 election, an old friend of mine was a hardcore Trumper. At the time (primary), the biggest challenge to Trump was Cruz. For no other reason that he was a threat to Trump getting the nomination, my old friend demonized Cruz all day every day on Facebook. He even bought into the lie about Cruz using prostitutes (which may very well have been a Trump dirty trick) story and perpetuated it.

This is what I'm trying hard NOT to do. None of the leading Republican candidates for POTUS is my enemy, I would take any of them in a minute over the evil that currently resides at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. At some point, most of us will need to get behind one of them to try and win back the White House. We can discuss which one has the best chance of that, but that's up to the voters to decide in the primary.
 
Until the man is jailed I refuse to let investigations, charges, or allegations affect my support. We’re all familiar with recent hoax stories pushed by the media, goobermint officials, agencies, and the courts which later turned out to be fabricated or at least discredited (mostly with no recourse). He is having his day in court, if he walks free then I hope people see it for was it is. Yes the odds are against him but I’m a sucker for underdogs.

It reminds me of how the Templars were taken down. If you’re not familiar with their demise look it up. Trumped up charges to take away their power, wealth, and political influence.
