Duke is very gentle and playful. He's a big baby.

I have no idea if he'd take off unleashed as I have a fenced in back yard.

Daisy is a Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix.
 
I hope this works out, Mark!! I asked MrB and he said he would if it weren't for BabyB. He doesn't want to take chances.

I can't stand the thought of them going to the shelter. :(
 
Fox, I hope you're monitoring the Hwy this morning. I was going to call you this morning but my schedule isn't working out as planned and your number has fallen out of my recent calls list and I didn't think to save it. Jimmy and I have discussed the sitaution and as bad as we want to help we simply can't do it. I tried to find someone to foster but no one seems to have the ability. I'm afraid we won't be able to feed them and the five others we already have for the whole year. Money is just too tight. Not to mention I would have to have the intact male neutered and that's not an expense we can take on. I hate this but there's really no choice for me. I'm still hoping someone comes along that can truly take care of them.

That's ok Mark, I understand. I do have another home for Daisy, but not Duke. I guess I'll have no choice but to take him to the shelter this afternoon.
 
Fox, have you talked to Gleemp? His response at #37 sounded like he was willing to care for Duke...
 
I was hoping he would have responded after seeing my last post. I have no idea how to get in touch with outside the internet.
 
Start a topic...looking for him. He might not have seen it. I would but I am on my phone and the program keeps thinking I am a robot. Hahaha
 
I just got off the phone with Gary. Sadly he turned in Duke this afternoon. The place was closing early and comcast disconnected his cable and internet today instead of next week and he did not know of any of these offers. He is very upset that he had to turn Duke in and will reimburse the adoption fee to anyone that would go in the morning and adopt Duke. He is calling me in the morning so if you read this and want to go get Duke, please pm me or post here so I can tell him before he leaves for Afghanistan.
Duke is at the Paulding Animal Control over on Industrial Blvd.
 
MamaHog and I have taken care of it. Duke should be picked up at the shelter tomorrow morning by a family member and will be at our house tomorrow night.

I had my cell with me all afternoon and never got a call, and I'm so glad Duke is being taken care of. I've been away from teh puter since 5 (it's 12:45 am). Happy am I. Thank y'all, seriously. I have absolutely nowhere to keep him, but I was gonna keep him in my garage until we could find someone to care for him.

I was very happy last night. I knew soon after talking to Fox that BBG & MH were awesome and going to get the doggy! Trixie, Daisy, and now Duke all have homes. :cheer1
 
Duke was being picked up at 11:30.

Thanks to BBG, MamaHog, and BBG's mommy for going to the shelter to get him for them.
