The person who was going to take care of my three dogs for me while I'm in Afghanistan has now decided not to. Now I have to find new homes for the dogs or take them to the animal shelter. Does anyone want a dog?
 
Post their details and pictures. You know we'll help you find guardians or new homes as best we can.
 
I have a friend that may be able to help. There is a group that is set up to help in these situations. Give me a day or two. She has to get in touch with the person that runs it. When do you leave?

This is Duke. He's 15 months old. He's a German Shepard/Golden Retriever mix. He weighs 91 lbs.

are the friendly around small kids or been around kids before
 
good luck with finding them a place to stay... my fur baby don't like to share his home or else I would help
 
We'd take them, but we already have 3 dogs. I will ask around to see if anyone would want them.
 
I'll have no choice but to take them to the animal shelter if I can't find them homes. Once there, I'm afraid they would put them down.

She is an indoor dog and housebroken.
 
I don't think he has any local family.

I would help you if I could, Fox. But I'm certainly happy you are finding options.
 
I will talk to my friend tomorrow, I know we can get these babies cared for.

I have 5 dogs, and my husband would be highly upset if we took in anymore.

My family is in Michigan. I leave this Saturday and I have a ton of stuff I have to do here to get ready, so I don't have time to take them up there.
 
how long will you be gone? are you looking for a forever home for them or do you want them back when you return? I have someone intrested in the black dog and had a few questions. She is waiting on an answer from her hubby
