Un.believable. What I got in the mail.

We got the piece too, and were absolutely jarred by it! We lived in Chicago for ten years, but have never lived in a county with such dirty campaigning. What in the world is wrong with these people? :dunno

OH I see what you are talking about now. This is just asinine! A new low, even for Heath! I can see Heath's campaign getting sued over this one!

hehe, The wifey got one too and I just threw it in the stack of the mail. This should be interesting when she gets home!
I don't see any suit at all. Why? Because one, he does owe a boat load of money. And two, the other part was a joke per se. I am amazed that so many didn't get that part of it as I did.

Game or no game, this is the kind of BULL Cheeze that pisses people off! It turns them off to politics and keeps them away from the polls! This just not acceptable! The people who do it are not acceptable! And the people who condone this crap is unacceptable! Take these childish games back to their GOP meetings!
But it is what it is. It happens on the democrat side too. Has nothing to do with the GOP. Heck, Obama pretty much called Romney a felon...so it isn't just local.

It may piss people off but people still vote for and against. It is what it is.

It isn't just Paulding.

I didn't get the mail but I got a phone call. It started out saying...This is a debt collection call, please do not hang up. The US Marshall service has been instructed to find Bill Carruth to get him to pay his debt of however much it was...blah blah blah. Then at the end of it, it said..If you see Bill Carruth, ask him to contact the US Marshalls office immediately. Seriously??? just a bunch of crap is all that is

You just don't get it, do you?

When did politics stoop to such childish levels that THIS is now acceptable businesses? It time to fire the whole damn lot of them and start over!

Sorry I was not here for a bit..I need to do some article writing BUT, I like phone calls from various sources. :D

BUT, that mailer of the Writ of Execution against Carruth, I was told was NOT from the Heath campaign. When a candidate approves of a mailer and so forth, it states that. What was sent today had nothing on there to state who it was from or approved by. That has to be stated if it is by the campaign or candidate.

ALSO, I was told that it is not a joke but a copy of the original document filed on May 30, 2012.

People complain about this type of campaigning/flyers, etc. but they forget, character of the candidate also matters.

I plan to not say more on this matter.

I don't have to get nothing when facts are facts. What was sent IS fact along with everything else. Since when does character, the background of any candidate NOT matter?

I also just posted this:

No. If this is a joke, I do not find it funny. At all. If this is what I have to choose from, a jokester and a jokester, then I vote NO. This is crap. Crap crap.

I'm not happy with it, and I don't find it funny. At all.

BBG, we get junk mail a lot, even from the VA and neither of us have served. The reason this is different is because someone has to represent us at the gold dome. And folks that do this childish, elementary school play ground crap do NOT have my vote.

DOES Mr. Carruth really owe over $2,000,000.00 to the FDIC, I agree this type of campaign makes me sick, but I still am curious if there is any truth to the claim.

Yes - the enclosure to the letter was issued by the federal court in the litigation filed by the FDIC against the Carruths.

Personally, this mailing is trashy, period.

Trashy or not....the character opinion of Carruth counts.

As does the character of Heath. These two have sank to a new low. JK is clearly the best of this bunch!

Totally agree. We are voting for JK, too.

So if anyone can prove it came from the Heath campaign, then lets hear it.

Some of you seem to forget that a private citizen also filed against him concerning his eligibility. Again, I do not know who sent today's mailer.

But here's one hypothetical question...if a candidate going against another candidate found out that in that candidates past, unknown to many, that he was arrested for lets say assault and battery on a cop, would you want to know that as a voter?

Just answer a yes or no and nothing more.

I will start:

YES

YES.

but how the information is disseminated is important. :taunt (you know I'm not capable of just a yes or no. ;D

My turn - if a candidate blatantly lies about another candidate, is he really the kind of person that we should support? (hypothetically speaking, of course). Yes or No only please

Yes. I would like to know. However, I'd rather not find out via a collection notice to MY FAMILY on Bill Carruth. That is unacceptable. Sorry.

I have to say, even if it was in poor taste, I did get a chuckle out of the awesome photoshop Mr. Heath's mailer had of Mr. Carruth. Ya know, his head cut out then pasted onto a running body. Ha ha.

Who sent this collection letter? I'd like to know.

Is the enclosure true? Yes, it appears to be. Does the Federal Marshall really want Carruth's neighbors help to locate him and his personal possessions? No, I think not.

In fact, the whole thing is completely deceptive. There isn't a collection agency for the federal marshall.
