Trump wins Indiana. Clinton wins presidency.

I could easily vote Libertarian.

But reality is that either a D or R will win.

I'm not any happier about that than you guys are.

I was listening to Hannity interviewing Trump on his radio program this evening and Hannity brought up the National Enquirer's picture claiming Cruz's father standing next to Oswald days before the Kennedy assassination. Trump carefully worded his statement to plant the seed that Cruz's father may have been involved with the Kennedy assassination. We all know Trump is great friends with NE's head honcho whose rag also made allegations Cruz has had numerous affairs. Trump said NE would not have published the story if it weren't true and properly vetted to prevent from being sued. Carol Burnett successfully sued NE for publishing a story she was seen drunk in a restaurant with Henry Kissinger. Kate Hudson, and Gary Condit's wife each successfully sued the NE for false stories written by them. These guys don't really mind being sued because they make millions in sales from BS stories.

The Trump supporters are absolutely sickening on Facebook tonight.

I, of all people, have been accused of being a liberal, a Hillary supporter, and being paid off.

The last two times people were this badly mislead, we got Obama.

God help us!

Do not underestimate Trump. People have been laughing at him and dismissing him with their haughty attitudes from the very beginning as if he was some sort of bafoon and look what he has done.

I wouldn't be so quick to discount a person's intellect or work ethic or potential for success unless we are willing to compare financial statements with that person.

As I've mentioned before, everyone will vote in November. Some with their finger on the voting booth touch screen, the rest with their butt on the couch. Anyone who sits at home thinking they are making a point is a foolish person who cares more about their self esteem than their country.

I'm not voting for a politician in November. I'm voting for my daughter and grand daughter.

Did I miss Cruz filing suit? If untrue he should have, heck, he does not even need a lawyer. ;)

No, the false image of Cruz put out by the left AND the Trump campaign has alienated a lot of Republicans.
I disagree. Creepy Cruz and things he said alienated me, so I am pretty sure I am right when I say HE alienated people. I was still going to vote for him if he was the nominee, but I did not "love" him like others.

I don't have a daughter or grand daughter but if I did that would be even a bigger reason to not vote for Trump. I'm tired of voting for republican candidates who are more liberal than conservative. I voted for Bush and Romney and neither would be considered a constitutional conservative. The leftist Trump supporters own the republican party now and they can do with it whatever they want. I don't care any longer. I'm voting Libertarian like I should have been doing anyway. If there was ever a time that a 3rd party may gain traction, this year is it.

I am watching Cruz supporters burn bridges left and right.

I voted for Cruz, but I also recognize that other folks
have valid and sincere reasons for supporting Trump.

Attacking my fellow voters is not a smart strategy,
nor will it win me any friends or political influence.

Insulting and alienating Trump supporters is not productive.

Time to take the lemons and try to make some lemonade...

;)

Not all Republicans are conservative and not all conservatives are Republican. Very few conservatives with longevity have a 100% conservative voting record.

It boils down to a simple decision.....do you dislike Trump enough to accept Hillary as POTUS for the next 4 years, and likely 8? Hillary has a proven liberal political history, there is no doubt what her Presidency would include. To say Trump is not a conservative is one thing, to say he leans as left as Hillary is quite another. Voting 3rd party is an option but will most likely benefit Hillary. Let's not forget the selection of a Supreme Court nominee is at stake which will have profound affects for many years to come, long after Hillary or Trump are out of office. Trump has one positive thing going for him, his support for the 2nd Amendment should help him with some voters currently holding out their support for him.

I saw some interviews from years ago where he was very polished and presidential.

He's capable, just not sure he wants to.
A tiger doesn't change his stripes.

I've watched a short tempered egomaniac in public office for the last 3 years. It wasn't pretty. He alienated a lot of people. Not surprisingly, he's a Trump supporter too.

We are doomed. We may as well just hand our entire paycheck to the government at this point. That's what we'll be doing within 4 years anyway. I am sick over this entire election cycle. Sick.

Last sentence. Exactly.

I looked over Facebook last night and saw gobs of normally Republican voters who said they now not vote, and many who said they would go 3rd party now.

Trump's negative ratings are 60-70%.

Unless he pulls off a miracle and turns that around, there is no numerical possibility of him winning.

Trump's problem is real, and it's his to try and fix.

Maybe they will have their way and prove their point. How sad it will be when Clinton wins and they receive a moment of brief satisfaction. A satisfaction that will quickly deteriorate in a future election when they are on the other side of the coin and are begging other voters to vote for their selected candidate. This plays both ways.

Do what you must do. Others who did the same last election put Obama in office.

This graph shows google searches for Libertarian party last night after Cruz dropped out.

A waste of time and effort. People's egos are the problem. Maybe they should search for medication instead of a candidate who they have to search for because no one has ever heard of them.

I am not wishing for people to skip the election or vote 3rd party, Hillary must be defeated.

But some of it is the unfortunate result of this primary season, and Trump is partly to blame for it.

As I stated above; his problem with voters is real and his alone to fix. The GOP has fence mending to do as well.

You're suggesting I need medication because I won't vote for Trump. Really?

The GOP can blame themselves for Trump's problem. People don't like Trump's demeanor. You know me and he's 180 degrees different than I am as far as my demeanor, but none of us have to live with him or work with him, so his demeanor shouldn't be a deciding factor. Do people disagree with the Wall or the trade issues or the immigration issues regarding Muslims? Do they not like the fact that he doesn't talk like Obama?

Maybe he can't do all the things he says he would like to do. Maybe the congress will stand against him on a lot of issues. But this I DO believe. There is no one that will try harder. I believe he will not apologize for America. In fact, I believe he will get in the face of other world leaders and put them in their place again. I don't base my support on a popularity contest or his stupid looking hair do or his ability to tickle my ears with elegant speeches. His brash demeanor does not sway my vote. There was a guy name Truman who was not that pleasant of a fellow as I recall.

I didn't want McCain OR Romney in the last two failed attempts, but I refused to vote of the socialist democrats or cast a NO VOTE by sitting at home on my ego. Bob Barr is a personal friend of mine and he was the libertarian candidate back then. I think the world of Bob Barr. We sat in his office for an hour talking about my first book, his effort to impeach Clinton and his roll in writing one of the forewords, but I didn't waste my vote on his candidacy because I knew it would go nowhere.

I truly hope and pray that the #NeverTrumpers will give this thing time before they decide to throw their vote away. The only thing I know is what I'm going to do. Mrs. Colson and Daughter Colson voted for Cruz (did I spell it right this time?) but are firmly behind Trump to prevent another President Clinton. I voted Trump in the primary, but have said I would have voted Cruz in the general, just as I did McCain and Romney. That's because I feel the nation is FAR more important than my hurt feelings.
