Tell me again which gender "he" is?

I genuinely hope they are, and that they raise the child in an atmosphere of love.

But my real point is...No matter how many dealer installed options "he" adds, "he" will still be a woman. So the whole transgender thing is a myth. Scientifically speaking; it's an impossibility (at least under our current level of technology).

It is not a myth to have a woman or mans reproductive parts and identify as the opposite sex. Whether you believe in the fact that people can be born with one gender and identify with another or not, it is happening so it is not a myth.

Transgender : denoting or relating to a person whose sense of personal identity and gender does not correspond with their birth sex.

He knows that his body will always be one that was born female, but he identifies as male. I can not imagine being in a body that I do not feel is mine. This is not something new, just has been in the news the last few years. I do not think anyone believes they can change their chromosomes, but they do what they can to live a life they feel comfortable with, and just want to be allowed to live as they want. If you are a male or female it does not change my interaction with you. I do not care what you identify with, male or female.

Being open minded to something you do not understand will not kill you....I promise. :D He is not stating he is an animal or object, and knowing that many men and women are more feminine or masculine than others, it really is not a stretch to believe that some are born identifying with the opposite sex.

I am open minded. But facts are facts.

I don't care what they do as long as they pay for it, but this business of wanting special rights and privileges is where the problem is.
 
As a couple they are still a man and a woman. Interesting that as a "woman/man" she was not attracted to a woman, but a man.

Also in the story she spoke about how having her regular hormones made her feel horrible. That's when I wonder if her hormones are off, and instead of having her hormones balanced 14 years ago, so that she did not feel so out of sorts, instead she felt the only way was to be a man, using testosterone to override the out of control estrogen it sounds like she experiences.


It will be interesting when science figures out what role hormones in utero play in developing our identities as a boy or girl, and if there will be a way to help this profound dysphoria when a person feels they were born the wrong sex.

All I was pointing out is that it was not a disingenuous headline (for once) that they stated it was a trans man that had a baby. And you know, that is alright. I am not one to say who can and can not have children. ;):D
