That happens a lot around here.

I do not think this thread is funny. I did not think it was about arguing, but a child being disrespectful. :dunno (We might be disagreeing on that fact, but that is what we do on message boards. )


I think when we have good conversations with different opinions it is interesting here.

Nor do I. It was an innocent debate. That's what debates are. You argue your point and I argue mine. No big deal. If everyone agreed with each other and there was no back and forth, this place along with any other forum would be boring as hell.

I really can't believe that you don't.

I really do not. I can see where you could be saying we are arguing, though I see it more as disagreeing, but I do not see that we could possibly be arguing about arguing when the topic is about if the kid should have or should not have gone off in class. (and his punishment or lack of) Many of us took that as disrespectful, but he was not arguing, mouthing off, yes, schooling (as others put it), yes, but I see arguing as a back and forth, not a rant. Maybe I have been disagreeing the wrong point! )
