She was a nightmare to work with and I told folks years ago her actions were gonna come back and bite her in the butt
She was a chain smoking, cussing, crude DIVA! Her hubby was nice and was over apologetic for the way she was acting
The company that brought her in for the event I worked vowed never to have her again... That was 3 1/2 or 4 years ago
Her brother is also nice and we go to his restaurant every time we are in Savannah

You'd be hard pressed to find a decent handful of them that hadn't been an a$$ at one point or another. And I agree with SD ... from everything I've ever heard her brother has been historical a much bigger jerk. But hey, I don't live my life for them or have to deal with them in any way that can't be fixed with a simple button push on the remote so I don't really have a lot invested in any of it. ) )
Have we told you lately you are a dork? ;DGuard Dad said:Honestly...can't really say I care.

After many trips to Savannah, we have eaten at Lady and Son's, Paula's restaurant there. Most of her help there are African Americans and all we talked to her staff and were told how wonderful she treats them. We
also talked to a African American woman there that knows Paula very well. She told us story after story of kind things Paula does for people there. The lady also does tours there and gave me her card and told me the first time she met Paula, she was invited into her home and treated like she had known her forever.

But, I do have a little insight: companies are terrified of being painted as racist. If they are seen to do nothing about her, certain elements will claim that the company that produces her show endorses racism. This could threaten advertising. A food show network is not one that wants any kind of controversy.
