More evidence that transgender bathrooms are a bad idea

What about those that are sufficiently committed but have yet to make it legal because the cost is astronomical? They want to, they have been living for years as the opposite sex, yet can not afford the penis or to get rid of it? I think sufficiently commented is and can be a varied opinion.

"Life is not fair... grab a helmet." - My Mother

As I understand it... one does not have to have the
operation in order to to legally change their gender.

Life isn't fair, but it also does not have to be saturated with ridiculous made up laws, just to make someone feel better. (Pretty sure most of you have said that at one point. )

It is as simple as asking for identification...

What if they are too young for identification? (I know this as fact right within our community.)

I wonder what an officer has done to make his chief mad that he gets to be the potty police? How much money on resources will we waste calling the police because that WOman looked more manly and you just knew she was and you called the police for her peeing in the "wrong" bathroom?

I just do not get this whole thing or why we are still back and forth on this. Do perverts go in bathrooms? Yes they do. Do horrible things happen in bathrooms? Yes they do. Will this law stop it? No it will not unless they have potty police at every public restroom checking id throughout the country. Not going to happen.

Fixed your post :D
I have noticed some people here who call themselves conservatives are very much social liberals. If God made you a man; you're to be a man. If God made you're to be a woman. When people say it's ok for people to change their sex or be homosexuals, they are saying it's ok to go against God's will and that God made a mistake.

Some people on here have no clue and are ridiculous in their statements.

I just skimmed the article, what point ? Sorry it is really little and I tried to read it, but it was too hard, so I just bookmarked it and I will go back to it later.

The Charlotte ordinance was a "ridiculous made up law" that sought to pander to a relatively non existent problem.

Mandating that private businesses and schools allow anyone to use any restroom they wish was just asking for trouble...

Accommodations could and should be made on a case by case individual basis, there was no need for that ordinance.

So you're cool with people having to show identification to use the restroom? In America?

I don't see how anyone who claims to want less government can be for this.

I'm cool with private businesses and schools making their own decisions on bathroom policy without mandates from pandering politicians.

:cool2:

Are you saying that if someone is born a man, but feels they are a woman; God made a mistake?
I do not think God makes mistakes, period. There are other answers to being born with more chromosomes, no arms, a disease, both genders, or believing you are not what your appearance is. Please refrain from asking or insinuating, at least to me or my responses, that I think God is making mistakes. The people I think making mistakes are the ones that judge and do not love thy neighbor. The ones trying to make others feel bad because of what they think they know. The ones that are condescending and do so in a way to feel superior. Those are the ones making mistakes, not God.

You're right, God does not make mistakes. It's against the natural order of things God intended when a man decides he wants to be a woman or a woman decides she wants to be a man. It's WRONG for anyone to decide for whatever reason they want to change their sexual identity.

So you know that God did not make their brain or body think it was the opposite? If God CREATED them to think that or be that way, I am am not taking the chance of condemning them, and having to explain that judgement. o_O
I will go with what I believe God spoke the most of; loving. I think if more people tried to love thy neighbor instead of condemning them or throwing those stones from their glass houses, the world we lived in would be much different. (Not claiming I am perfect and let that judgment in at times.) I want people to be happy. I want them to know the love of themselves and others. I am not here to judge their decisions, that in my opinion are not choices, and others should not either. They are loving themselves and others, not killing people.

This is not intended to be hateful, I'm not trying to be mean. In fact, my opinion is originated in compassion.

I am of the opinion that transgenders or people who want to change their sex are either mentally ill or terribly confused (which I guess would qualify as mentally ill). I don't blame them; I see them as people who are in need of help, and not the help of a surgeon.

I also believe that when we encourage or enable them to change their gender, we could be helping them to make a massive mistake that might not can be reversed.

It's hard to know what to believe from the internet these days; but there have been what appear to be some fairly credible reports that Jenner has experienced considerable regret and frustration since starting his "journey". Time will tell how this works out, but my guess is that it won't have a happy ending.

I'm not condemning them at all. I'm simply saying changing their sex is wrong and it's not what God intended. God created man and woman. He didn't create a man to become a woman or a woman to become a man.
