More evidence that transgender bathrooms are a bad idea

Oh please. Logic is knowing that if a man wanted to go into a woman's restroom to attack women he would do it regardless of any law. Or hey, he could just say that he was born a woman and he has to use the women's restroom because who's going to check?

Perverts do not wait for a law, they just do it anyway. Someone can easily tell a pervert dressed up verses a transgendered person, most times it is hard to tell.
If you will read the article, the college has stopped allowing the transgender access because the policy did indeed make for more problems.

It made it just that much easier for a guy to go into a woman's bathroom, and some guys did take advantage of it.

The evidence is right there in the article, not sure why some of you are still in denial.

Logic also says that the easier it is for the would-be attacker (or perv, or person taking pics or videos or just getting their cheap thrills); the more likely it is to happen.

Policies like the one at this college made it very easy for men to go into the women's bathrooms, locker rooms, etc. They didn't even have to disguise themselves to pass as a women; just throw on some women's clothing and declare that they identify as a woman.

Logic would tell you that the City of Charlotte should not have passed that ridiculous ordinance to start with. They started the shit storm in North Carolina. Do you realize that the Charlotte ordinance applied to EVERY public building, including schools (even private ones), churches, etc.

One article does not prove anything, and again, if you think an article based around a college doing something is going to change anyone's mind you have never been on a college campus. Problems with guys going into a girls bathroom is the least of their worries.

Who is in denial of what? I find the whole thing ridiculous. This should not be an issue or the main topic of conversation for people, and I mean people making laws. Good grief there is much more important things to concern ourselves with than where people pee.

The administration at the University of Toronto was recently enlightened on why two separate washrooms are generally established for men and women sharing co-ed residencies.

The University is temporarily changing its policy on gender-neutral bathrooms after two separate incidents of "voyeurism" were reported on campus September 15 and 19. Male students within the University’s Whitney Hall student residence were caught holding their cellphones over female students’ shower stalls and filming them as they showered.

Melinda Scott, dean of students at the University of Toronto, told The Daily Wire that campus police had been contacted immediately and worked with residence staff to “support impacted students and ensure the safety of the Residences.”

“Given the serious nature of these incidents and the impact on directly affected students, we made the decision to specifically designate some washrooms in Whitney Hall for those who identify as men and those who identify as women,” Scott said.

? ? ? ?
Voyeurism in bathrooms is not new, whether there is a law or not. Anyone that does it should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, whether allowed or not allowed in an area.

You did not answer my question or comment on my post. You posted the article, again, from a college. Once again, colleges have voyeurism issues and much worse on campuses across the country (at least ours, your article is not a college in America, right?) and this does happen with or without laws.

College, hormonal teens, boys & girls will try ......a lot. If they needed this incident to enlighten them on why the hormonal teens should be separated while showering, they need new administration.

Groups of college kids with SHOWERS is different than a public bathroom. To me it seems as if this is two different arguments being had in this thread.

The legally transgendered are protected under this law, so those sufficiently committed should have no problem.

;)

What about those that are sufficiently committed but have yet to make it legal because the cost is astronomical? They want to, they have been living for years as the opposite sex, yet can not afford the penis or to get rid of it? I think sufficiently commented is and can be a varied opinion.

It's a ridiculous law. Period. There is simply no way to enforce it and it solves nothing.

Keep it up republicans...

Because they are thinking emotionally.
