I would think two shots could have a reasonable explanation, such as; we know he was shooting at them, he knew he would die, shoots himself as a bullet was coming through the door. He might have had two wounds but no one knows, yet, if both were self inflicted. Though I do agree that anything out there right now is speculation, other than the fact there are many innocent dead, hundreds physically harmed, and thousands scarred for life. :(

Besides the actual act of him doing it and the reasons why, most reports do add up to me. Nothing is sticking out or seems bizarre and I totally am in the some shootings seem VERY OFF category. Sandy Hook still bothers me. I can give you a dang thesis on what does not add up or seemed off or wrong with that whole situation.

I do think because of the time that he stopped shooting and the time he killed himself that he was trying to figure out his escape/what his options were. I am not beyond believing he did have an accomplice, if he did have an escape planned. I do think that finding out and getting a definitive answer as to why he did this probably will not happen. Which in itself is sad. I know all impacted by this want to know, why? It does seem like the act of a mad man and apparently his father was described as mentally ill by the police.

As for keeping this close to the vest....I have not taken it like that. I feel as if they have been as forthcoming as most, though obviously they can't up and tell us every single detail, at least not yet.

I am unsure as to why so many online question the hotel staff about him and bringing up all the guns. These hotels are massive, usually takes days to figure out which way is which. Numerous elevators, stairs, and walkways where you would never even see the same person twice. I would also think he could have even brought up guns in a golf bag. He could do that a few times a day and no one would think twice with as much as I have seen people golfing there. IDK I just thought that was an odd reason that many have for he, "had to have help."

Pft.... HB posts good articles. Though sometimes long :p but I only knew you didn't because that was some of my answer above.

Believe me, I understand running around in warp speed. There are not enough hours in the day to keep up with everything. People need to start being NICE and forgiving. Craziness is out of control.

This guy suffered from a psychotic break brought about by an unimaginable massive gambling addiction.

The guy obviously had mental issues. It will be interesting to see if his motive is ever discovered.

He spent a lot of time and money going to other cities staying in hotels next to large venues like stadiums or an area that was going to have a large event. He requested hotel rooms that afforded him a view of these areas. He was obviously planning to conduct a mass murder for some time. I still can't help suspecting there were more people involved somehow behind the scenes.

Officer Dave Newton from the Las Vegas Police Department's K-9 unit said he noticed a note on the shooter's nightstand once officers breached the room. He said the note was located near one of the windows that Paddock had smashed with a hammer to fire onto the crowd below with high-powered semi-automatic rifles outfitted to increase their rate of fire.

"I could see on it he had written the distance, the elevation he was on, the drop of what his bullet was gonna be for the crowd," Newton said. "So he had that written down and figured out so he would know where to shoot to hit his targets from there."
