The fact that Romney is a Mormon doesn't bother me. If anything, it makes him come across as a man of integrity since he is open about his faith. What bothers me about Romney is his personality and the fact that he doesn't come across as a strong leader, but as someone who has difficulty being persuasive or relating to mainstream Americans.

Or conservative. ;) Yeah, his being Mormon bothers me not at all.

Just as long as he's not a Jayhove

Someone asked me the other day what a Jayhove is.....

It's short for Jahovah Witness :))

Amen to that. We can only hope that he heeds the call of the true conservatives and actually cuts spending, instead of simply redirecting it to his cronies.

Did ya hear the Etch A Sketch comment? :tapfoot2

Oh, yeah. Damnation. :rant
I think Both Newt and Santorum will regret holding up that toy and making the comments that they made about it. JMO

Imma wish I'd never seen one, and I used to love those things as a kid. :sigh:

:D That's a new one on me, too.

I didn't realize Santorum and Gingrich had entered the fray:

http://www.cnn.com/2012/03/22/politics/campaign-wrap/index.html

Fehrnstrom said the campaign will "hit a reset button" to take on President Barack Obama in the fall if Romney wins the GOP nomination, adding, "it's almost like an Etch A Sketch. You can kind of shake it up, and we start all over again."

The comment came in response to a question about whether Romney had to adopt conservative stances in the Republican campaign that could hurt him with moderates in November.

Both Santorum and Gingrich sought to extend the issue into a second day.

Yup. He is a politician of the first degree, meaning that he reflects his target audience. There is no doubt in my mind that he will make John McCain look like John Birch when it comes to the general election. They all do it. Obama was a family values, balanced budget, deficit cutting, pro Afghanistan candidate who couldn't spell socialism.

I am tired of hearing these guys tear each other up. It will be Romney and I will support him and pray that he is elected over Obama. Sour grapes is never attractive. :tapfoot2

I agree. It appears that Romney is going to be the nominee and it is time we all pulled together for the greater good of our country and get him elected.

Obama didn't have the experience to be our President when he ran and he has proven that through the last 3 1/2 years. He, in my opinion, has been the most ineffective President in our history. Of course I'm sure the ones waiting on "hand-outs" and with the "entitlement attitudes" without hard work ethics, perserverance, diligence and determination, will disagree.

It really is sad that the majority of the U. S. people have adopted this "gimme, gimme" attitude - it is leading to very negative consequences for our country and the value of hard work and effort is unfortunately diminishing every day.

Ditto!!!

If Obama is re-elected, this nation as we know it will cease to exist. I am more terrified for our future than I have EVER been. Billy Jeff was a piker compared to this socialist/marxist/communist yahoo.
