How low will Trump go?

Think of how much we hate Hillary. She was also disliked by many democrats. That is why she lost. Reverse it and you'll have a good idea why Trump lost in 2020 and will likely lose in 2024.

Independents are swing voters. They'll often vote for the candidate they least hate. Trump needed them in 2020 but didn't get them, hence he lost.
Well, perhaps, that plus a long line of other irregularities but we won't get into that. He lost, or at least he isn't currently POTUS.

Those with eyes see, those with ears hear. Others turn away. You really don’t want go down this road here with me. I’ll end up pissing you off more than you can handle.

But since you asked we can start with this article which is coincidently dated today:

But for Anti-Trumpers nothing will change the opinion which is perfectly fine. Everyone has them as well as other things.

Now tell me just how terrible your life was for four years under Trump. I mean I can only imagine the hell you lived thru. Bless your heart.

Trump is a billionaire with an ego to match. If he knew of concrete proof of enough vote tampering to change the election, he would find a way to get the info out.

Actually, according to the reports below, Trump hired a research team to prove election fraud but he didn't like the results and hasn't released them.

There is no doubt that there were some voting issues with all the mail in voting, etc. but there has not been any concrete proof of enough issues to overturn the results. There is conjecture and conspiracy theories, but no absolute proof. Again, if Trump had proof, he would find a way to get the info out.

One also has to realize that the "I got cheated. I actually won." argument that Trump makes all the time is one of the things that helps him keep his most ardent supporters. It also strokes his ego.

There is no question the country was doing better while Trump was POTUS. I also think the country would do better under another Trump presidency (Biden has set a very low bar). Problem is we have elections and reality hasn't set in for many that think Trump has a better chance of winning than someone else like DeSantis. But by all means, continue to support the lying dishonest carnival barker all the way to another four years of a Democrat in the White House.

Even for those who hate Trump... like my liberal ex room mate, who admitted her stocks and retirement was doing very well under a Trump Presidency. She also admitted that the other nations knew not to cross the USA because who knew what Trump might do if they pissed him off by being aggressive to the USA.

Can't say any of that about the Biden Administration

Must I remind everyone that if not for Trump, we would have had a Hillary?

Go ahead and show the evidence.

Go ahead and show the evidence.
Truthfully there isn't enough evidence on the planet that anyone could provide which would alter your dislike for DJT, that's evident in most of your related comments. Any mention of him in a positive sense automatically triggers a response reaction, normally accompanied with wild assumptions and opinions. I get it, you don't like him and many others probably feel the same way. That's the God given right of all American citizens and I have no issue with that. But for you to honestly think the 2020 election cycle was without severe irregularities and that Biden actually received over 81M total votes speaks volumes. If you want to know then be proactive and find your own evidence.

Covid was a pandemic and the jab was the answer....without evidence....until it wasn't.

I'm still waiting on why things were so bad under DJT's first term.

Things were not bad under DJT. I agreed with most of his appointments, policies, diplomacy. Give me one "policy" he put into law that wasn't overturned by the stroke of the executive pen? If the red headed penis with ears could have made anything law not temporary executive privilege he would have been a very good president. A true leader could have made policy that lasted decades. If you want instant gratification not long term sustainability vote for the loud mouth Yankee. Your grandchildren will pay the tab.

This is twice you've posted about his policies being overturned, but I have to ask what else he could have done?

Under the Constitution, no president can legislate, only Congress can. Trump did help push through and sign some legislation, including:

  • Signed the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act – the largest tax reform package in history.
  • More than 6 million American workers received wage increases, bonuses, and increased benefits thanks to the tax cuts.
  • A typical family of four earning $75,000 received an income tax cut of more than $2,000 – slashing their tax bill in half.
  • Doubled the standard deduction – making the first $24,000 earned by a married couple completely tax-free.
  • Doubled the child tax credit.
  • Virtually eliminated the unfair Estate Tax, or Death Tax.
  • Cut the business tax rate from 35 percent – the highest in the developed world – all the way down to 21 percent.
  • Small businesses can now deduct 20 percent of their business income.
  • Businesses can now deduct 100 percent of the cost of their capital investments in the year the investment is made.
  • Since the passage of tax cuts, the share of total wealth held by the bottom half of households has increased, while the share held by the top 1 percent has decreased.
  • Over 400 companies have announced bonuses, wage increases, new hires, or new investments in the United States.
  • Over $1.5 trillion was repatriated into the United States from overseas.
  • Lower investment cost and higher capital returns led to faster growth in the middle class, real wages, and international competitiveness.

I think most of this is still in effect.

As for his E/Os, there are only as permanent as the next president wishes. Meaning, Any president's E/Os can be reversed at the stroke of a pen. So I'm not sure what else he could have done.

My point is things were pretty damn good under Trump. If it was so bad then please point it out. That being said…his tweets, facial expressions, quotes to reporters, and nicknames to others don’t qualify. Pull up your big girl panties and carry on. His first term was the most successful in recent history. People have a short memory and are easily distracted by carrots.

Vote for who you want to vote for…but please vote. Personally I’ll take another 4 years of him just based on the fact that I know what to expect. Can’t say that for any other candidate.

It is, until next year. then most of it expires.

My decision not to support him has nothing to do with not supporting him now. I won't support him now because he's been making accusations the election was filled with fraud and that's why he lost. He's been tearing the GOP apart ever since then with his attitude that if don't support him, you're not loyal or now his enemy. Keep in mind Hillary had 48% of the vote to Trump's 45.9%. He lost GA in 2020 because he told his supporters to not even bother to vote in the senate runoff election saying the Dems were going to cheat. Just under 2.5 people voted in the 2020 presidential election, but only 2.2 million voted for Perdue and only 2.1 million for Loeffler. Both those Senate elections were damn close. It's Trump's fault we lost the two Senate seats to Democrats.

I regress. I have yet to see any evidence that cheating was why he lost.
