Hiram Mayor Resigns

I don't think any of us know the whole story on any of it. :dunno
I don't think so either, but I believe firmly that no matter what was the "good" reasoning behind what happened, how it happened (and made it appear) was not right.

My Dad had a favorite saying "never judge a book by it's cover". I have always liked that one.

Sorry, but what was presented was not right. I have not seen nor heard one peep regarding why it was done as it was (by the people involved), and will not repeat what I have heard from a minimum of 50 Hiram (inside city limit)residents about what they think about what they also saw.
Judging a book by its cover, to me, does not cover what is presented and seen with my own eyes. Obviously all my own opinion, and you have said a few things before, so I can assume that you might have more knowledge (then the rest of us), but until I and many others hear about those things, I highly doubt those opinions on what happened that night will change.
(BTW..I do respect your opinion and find what you say usually spot on, but with this situation until they come out and tell people (in general, not the select few) why they did what they did in that manner I do not see many opinions of the situation changing)

I don't recall voicing an opinion except to say we do not know the whole story. I have watched so many things like this unfold and down the road we find there was so much folks did not know. I am just waiting to throw folks under the bus. At least until I hear the rest of the story.

I am sorry. It came across as you might have a little more info than some others, if you do not I apologize. I don't want to throw someone under the bus, but if it were me, and I did something like that, I would surely be explaining fast so the appearance of something wrong wouldn't be what people took away if I did not intend for it to be wrong. LOL Does that make sense?

It does. I guess I have been watching politics so long that I know what can happen to people. People like Herman Cain. I heard he backed off his campaign because of threats to his family. No defense he just left the race. Politics is often about personal destruction of your opponent. I am sad to say all of that.

I need to go back and re-read the beginning of this thread. I obviously missed something. And, I haven't talked to anyone about it.
