Yep!! A vote for Johnson is a guaranteed Obama win. Too bad not everyone sees that, they prefer to stay the course. ~~shrug~~

Guaranteed Obama win??? What? Think of it this way, if people vote for Johnson, it could still get Obama out of office. As the law dude stated earlier in another post, they are relying on 2008 data in polls, so they may not even be correct.

I'm very sure he's a wise guy in real life, but I'm not going to take part in Puppet vs. Puppet again. I did that with Bush in 2004, and I did it with Obama in 2008...Not going there again. Both parties made all these promises that they were going to end the wars, cut the deficit, etc. Did that happen? No! I will say though, if it was Ron Paul that got the Republican nomination, I would have chosen to support him in the general election. Romney is a flip-flopper on issues...If he or Obama gets voted in, let me flip flop it for ya, We are the ones who don't have a chance in hades. If Romney would keep his mouth shut and keep the same values he had in other interviews, maybe I'd support him. I'm ready for NDAA and Patriot Act to be gone!

Paul wasn't going to get the Republican nomination, because he's NOT Republican.

By chance have you ever studied the old Soviet Union? Because if Obama is NOT beaten in November, we will end up that way ....if there is not an armed upraising.

You will work where you are told to. You will live where you are told to. You will drive what you are provided or take public transportation when told to. You will not be able to buy any personal property or draw a paycheck that you can cash and spend at the strip club on Friday night, or how ever you want. The internet and all media will be controlled by the state. And you will wear the cloths given you and not what you want to buy.

I do not how to make it any more clearer to you where we are headed. Only one person will win this election. And wishing all you want will not make it happen! You are not going to change anyone minds here with your fantasy wishes. It's time to listen to others who have experienced this many times and are far wiser in how the "real world" works.

Your thinking will guarantee an Obama win. Wake up and listen to what we are ALL trying to tell you!
I'm beginning to believe that LL is actually a Liberal and not a Libertarian.
Ya know the old wolf in sheep's clothing, with the goal of trying to persuade a few conservatives to vote for 0bummer by voting for Johnson.

Only a pathelogical liar would do that...Libertarians are for truth-telling and ridding of the bias as soon as possible. Johnson is very close to being able to be on that debate stage...Watch his poll numbers grow big time, it's not "too late in the game"...Even if he's not included, many people will think the debate will suck and either way, his numbers are going to go up, just not as much.

Whether you are realizing it or not, you are doing exactly what Obama and team want you to do. Demonizing Romney only helps him. Try running on Johnson's platform instead of following the leader, Obama, by telling us how bad the "other guy" is. Come on, if you're such a Johnson fan, tell us about Gary Johnson. Post some of his speeches with why you think they are good. Show us some of his accomplishments, tell us why we should vote for him not just vote against Obama and Romney.

You need to campaign for him, not against the other guys. That truly is what Libertarian's are about, if not they're just like the other guys.

Ok, I'll do that:
Accomplishments:
Built a handyman business that grew to over 100,000 workers, and never screwed a SINGLE soul over.
Was governor of New Mexico from 1994-2003, VETOED 750 BILLS, More than EVERY OTHER GOVERNOR COMBINED!
As GOVERNOR, he actually HELPED put out the Cerro Grande Fire in 2000. I'm not speaking crap like "Oh, he called people from this state and this state to help put it out." No! He actually helped put out the fire! Talk about People First guys!
He shifted Medicare to managed care
SLASHED the size of state government
Left the state in 2003 with a LARGE surplus

Here's some highlights in the debates:
Gary Johnson's Highlights 2012 GOP Debate

His speech at Paul Fest:
Gary Johnson's speech at Paul Fest 2012
He is the only candidate on the general ballot that's speech is telling people we need to stop the wasteful spending and we need to stop the wars, and that its time to abide by the constitution...

Actually, he's not the only candidate stating we have to cut spending and end the war. You're not really paying attention to what Romney is saying, but instead only looking for the talking points your candidate is putting out. If you would actually LISTEN to Romney, you would actually hear him say we need a balanced budget and we need to cut wasteful spending. You would also hear him say he fully supports a full troop withdraw from Afghanistan by 2014.

Let's just look at the call for a balanced budget and what that does. It prevents spending beyond the revenue the government actually brings in. We currently have a $1 trillion deficit, which means the government is spending that much above what revenues were collected. In order to balance the budget, the government under Romney would cut spending without raising taxes. He has said many times, he would NOT raise taxes.

I have tried to listen to Romney, problem is he's a flip flopper and I don't know how to trust somebody like that. Would you trust a person saying one thing one day and another thing the next day with your funds in your bank account? Would you trust a car mechanic that tells you one thing and then something totally different hours later or the next day? $1 Trillion deficit is incorrect, the national debt is $16 Trillion. A friend of mine whose also running for President, David Jon Sponheim, told the viewers on his BlogTV show, that with all the extra hidden charges that they're not putting down, the real deficit is around $62 Trillion, however even I refuse to believe that this is correct. I'll bet a dollar (not really haha!) that Romney hasn't even thought of closing embassies and cutting foreign aid for other countries, and hasn't even thought at all of closing the Internet surveillance building their currently working on in Nevada I believe where it's at. I stopped listening to him when he said "Yes, I would have signed the NDAA" at a debate. I don't think he's EVER won a debate for ANY office, EVER. Even Jill Stein was able to beat him in a debate back in 2002 for Governor of Massachusetts. It's very embarrassing. Don't believe what big money crooks tell you. They want to close your mind as much as possible. The fact is, anything can happen on this Earth. Hell, doctors said I would be born a dead baby, but I came out and turned into a fine young man over the years. Real realism is anything can happen on this planet. Even with the lowest chances of happening, if it can be built, it can happen. When Nick Wallenda announced plans to walk the wire on the Niagra Falls, people thought he was crazy and delusional, and people thought he was a fraud, but you know what? He didn't give up, and he accomplished something no other man could in the billions of years life on this planet has been around. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., he had been arrested many times for protesting and rallying on the streets to stand up for EQUAL RIGHTS and to put an end to discrimination. His speech, "I Have A Dream", delivered on grounds ALMOST NOBODY HAD BEEN ABLE TO SUCCESSFULLY DO IN YEARS... Anything can happen in life, ya'll. Anything. It's all about putting your mind to it, banding people up to spread a message. Only choosing to join "the lesser of two evils" is not a characteristic of leadership. It's about being a leader yourself and choosing what's right and what's best for you and your kids, and not believing in what big money corporations or big money biased media tells you. People in New Mexico and Colorado, they understand the word and the message, and there are more Gary Johnson signs out there than Obama or Romney combined.

I would say determining a winner in a debate is a matter of perspective. Most people are going to agree with the candidate they are already supporting. Now you can say Stein beat Romney in that debate all you want, but how did she do in the election? For that matter, how did she do in any election where she ran for public office? Obviously, Romney resonated with the voters a lot more than she did and most likely the voters who watched that debate declared Romney the winner.

I don't really think you're a Libertarian at all.

Are you sure BIG MONEY MANIPULATION OF OPINION wasn't a factor??

I've been voting for president since 1976. I've watched a lot of presidential debates and I only recall one campaign where there were more than three candidates on the stage. All the others debates were between the Democrat and Republican candidates. So no, I don't think big money manipulation of opinion is what's preventing Johnson from being a participant of the debate. What's preventing him from being invited is the fact he polls so low, he really doesn't stand a chance to win.
