Actually, he's not the only candidate stating we have to cut spending and end the war. You're not really paying attention to what Romney is saying, but instead only looking for the talking points your candidate is putting out. If you would actually LISTEN to Romney, you would actually hear him say we need a balanced budget and we need to cut wasteful spending. You would also hear him say he fully supports a full troop withdraw from Afghanistan by 2014.
Let's just look at the call for a balanced budget and what that does. It prevents spending beyond the revenue the government actually brings in. We currently have a $1 trillion deficit, which means the government is spending that much above what revenues were collected. In order to balance the budget, the government under Romney would cut spending without raising taxes. He has said many times, he would NOT raise taxes.
I have tried to listen to Romney, problem is he's a flip flopper and I don't know how to trust somebody like that. Would you trust a person saying one thing one day and another thing the next day with your funds in your bank account? Would you trust a car mechanic that tells you one thing and then something totally different hours later or the next day? $1 Trillion deficit is incorrect, the national debt is $16 Trillion. A friend of mine whose also running for President, David Jon Sponheim, told the viewers on his BlogTV show, that with all the extra hidden charges that they're not putting down, the real deficit is around $62 Trillion, however even I refuse to believe that this is correct. I'll bet a dollar (not really haha!) that Romney hasn't even thought of closing embassies and cutting foreign aid for other countries, and hasn't even thought at all of closing the Internet surveillance building their currently working on in Nevada I believe where it's at. I stopped listening to him when he said "Yes, I would have signed the NDAA" at a debate. I don't think he's EVER won a debate for ANY office, EVER. Even Jill Stein was able to beat him in a debate back in 2002 for Governor of Massachusetts. It's very embarrassing. Don't believe what big money crooks tell you. They want to close your mind as much as possible. The fact is, anything can happen on this Earth. Hell, doctors said I would be born a dead baby, but I came out and turned into a fine young man over the years. Real realism is anything can happen on this planet. Even with the lowest chances of happening, if it can be built, it can happen. When Nick Wallenda announced plans to walk the wire on the Niagra Falls, people thought he was crazy and delusional, and people thought he was a fraud, but you know what? He didn't give up, and he accomplished something no other man could in the billions of years life on this planet has been around. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., he had been arrested many times for protesting and rallying on the streets to stand up for EQUAL RIGHTS and to put an end to discrimination. His speech, "I Have A Dream", delivered on grounds ALMOST NOBODY HAD BEEN ABLE TO SUCCESSFULLY DO IN YEARS... Anything can happen in life, ya'll. Anything. It's all about putting your mind to it, banding people up to spread a message. Only choosing to join "the lesser of two evils" is not a characteristic of leadership. It's about being a leader yourself and choosing what's right and what's best for you and your kids, and not believing in what big money corporations or big money biased media tells you. People in New Mexico and Colorado, they understand the word and the message, and there are more Gary Johnson signs out there than Obama or Romney combined.
