Ferguson decision

The local Fox News security guys are moving in to retrieve their reporters. I pray they're armed.

I've listening to my scanner too DW, it's crazy. Seems like the media coverage is finally beginning to report what's really happening now. They were slow getting going by now seem to have fairly accurate coverage. Protests in progress in Philly and NY City, it won't be long before it spreads to more and I'm sure Atlanta will be one of them.

It's sickening, isn't it? Oh my gosh. This is just terrible!
 
I'm a news junky, I'll probably be up all night listening to the scanner and watching the news.

That it was. Relatively quiet for now, I suppose the thugs are sleeping it off today so they can get back at it tonight. Heard LE won't be as lenient if there is a 2nd round.

Was there anything effective the Guard could have done other than shooting people? Unless the city was ready for that, it was probably best that they left the guard save and let the protesters have the night. Had the protestors been going after innocent people, it would have been another story altogether.

I agree. Listening to Rush a little while ago, he played a audio clip of a reporter asking some official, "So, did the authorities just stand back and let Ferguson burn?"

Really? Like Rush said after the clip, "Damned if you do and damned if you don't". If they had run in and started cracking heads it would have been touted as even more brutality. And when they stand back and leave the animals to their own devices they are slammed for doing nothing.

I say bring the marshmellows and let 'er burn! :popcorn
