donald trump

And as I have said ... he has started many conversations that needed to be started. He has shaken the dust off of the establishment.

But he is not the man to lead this nation.

Check this one out ...

At the moment Trump is still the man, like him or not. Everyone fears what he may or may not do if elected President, keep in mind rarely does any candidate fulfill promises made on the campaign trail. It baffles me that the GOP has held the House and Senate for a while now yet I can't name one thing they've accomplished with positive results for the conservative. The older I get the more I'm convinced they have no concern with doing the people's work, the ship is sinking, we may as well have a captain with a sense of humor on the way down. Wonder if Trump can play the violin?

None of my comments about him not getting the nomination have anything to do with "like him or not" ... he is not electable.

(for the record ... I can not stand him)

Amen, brother...as somebody far wiser than I said - We no longer have a two-party political system here in America. We have the Uniparty with a Democrat wing and a Republican wing.

The Democrat-Republicans were one of the first two parties in the US, the other being the Federalists. We once again appear to have Democrat-Republicans, but they hold dear the platform of the Federalists now. We now have only the Republican Liberty Caucus to uphold the original small government ideals of the Democrat-Republicans.

Some interesting points about his gun plan:

Donald Trump’s mixed gun platform
Eh. I am not enamored with the writer of the article. There are others praising his plan with just a few questions on points they want elaborated. I know you do not like him, but it is not a bad plan and some of his ideas are really spot on. As for some of the studies cited, :dunno I am not so sure there are not others that say the opposite. :)) (I didn't look.)

I actually like his plan...especially the 50 state carry part. I also don't think many of the other republican candidates would have much different plans.

The 50 carry part is needed. It is absolutely ridiculous that if you take a car trip some of the states you drive through you could wind up in big trouble.

:dunno Research the facts?

I do not understand what difference it makes what the man's name is to anyone, but maybe the man and his friends. He was at a town hall meeting and expressed his opinion through his comments and question. I am not so sure that I would think that my question or comments would be news or make headlines and that guy should not be crucified in the press for his opinion as a private citizen. (I am saying that whether I agree with his statement or not, and whether he was a "plant" as mentioned or not. He is still a private citizen that was just asking a question/making a statement.)

Joe The Plumber was a private citizen and we knew everything about him within a couple of days.

How do we know this guy is even a Trump supporter ? ? ?

Perhaps he is a Clinton or Bush campaign operative ? ? ?

His identity makes a world of difference to the story.

So your (general) right to know who this is, trumps (<<<see that) his right to being a private citizen asking a question? It makes no difference in the big picture of who this guy is, works for, or supports. I would rather people be able to ask questions and voice their opinions to possible Presidential candidates without worry of press fallout if their question or comment becomes a sound bite or happens to be picked up by the press where they no longer a private citizen, but a late night joke. When you ask a question in a public forum and that question becomes newsworthy,
then your identity becomes a matter of public interest... unless you are a Democrat.

The identity of this man is central to the story, because he is being portrayed by the hack media
as emblematic of Trump's supporters. If he is a troll, that changes the entire focus of the story.

The truth matters...

Well that's the risk you take when you stand up in front of thousands of
people at a public Presidential campaign rally and ask a stupid question.

You are correct. Like you said, we knew all about Joe "the plumber" Wurzelbacher within days after he asked Obama about his small business tax policy because he was interested in purchasing a small business. The MSM dug up every thing they could on him because it his comments made Obama look foolish to small business owners with his "spread the wealth around" comment. So if the MSM would dig up every thing they could on Joe, why not the guy in the Trump t-shirt? I strongly suspect the guy was a plant.
