Crist Applies for waste collection / recycling facility permit

Not twisted here either, I just wonder how one adequately polices their rental customers. You know that some jackhole is going to dump a couple of sacks full of dirty diapers, a Mickey D's bag or two, and a few gallons of paint in there every now and then.

Odd...I didn't realize that wanting more information and showing concern for environment and property values constituted getting one's panties twisted.

I didn't suggest that anyone in particular (other than likely the author of the letter) had his/her panties twisted. :whistle

When somebody sent out that letter it put things in peoples' minds, that is what it was supposed to do. (well it worked :spitchick). What do you think it was supposed to do, it was not a heart warming letter :cheer1. The problem is WHOever sent it knows that it has no truth to it or they would have attached their name to it :agreed. That being said, anytime you're dealing with recycling there is always stuff involved that is unexpected but I really don't think that Crist would put their name at risk to due anything stupid or harmful to this community. Their name is too well known. I think they're on to something (to create jobs and lower cost like Lisa said).

That is not intended to be a local dump. People need to get the facts straight before all the uproar; it's not necessary. It is not a place for people to drive by in their minivans and drop off their trash bags. Seriously

I don't know them, well I have seen the name, but other than that I don't know them.
But then again, I didn't know what a Beiber was either.

Hey now ... I saw on Facebook where this was going to be a highly dangerous and toxic hazmat storage facility and would be located inside Hiram Elementary School thereby causing our sweet, innocent children to grow 2nd heads, 3rd eyes, and webbed feet. I read this on Facebook so it must be true!!!

You left off the fact that your mom's second cousin's boyfriend's sister's baby daddy's mama knows a woman in Alabama who lives right next door to the one they built there and it caused her to come off of welfare and actually get a job... These places must be stopped!

Because he is a good man and his so-called plans being circulated is not accurate. Seems to me that someone or maybe others has an issue with him so they come out with something that is way beyond of what Ron's plans were to be. And whoever sent it out, hasn't revealed his/her name which raises questions in my mind.

Well, I dont know of nor have I read anything elsewhere..

I asked why the "good man" comment was tossed in there because.....

When I read a comment like that, I feel it is meant as no matter what the person in question is trying to do, they should be given a free pass because "they are a good person". Then when things tank.....the next comment will be "well, he meant good".

So, all in all, because that was said, it automatically raises questions in my teenie tiny brain, that there may be more to it.

Again, no disrespect to you, you've just raised a huge flag for me.

I think it is a common statement made here. I have read it numerous times right on this board. I don't know that it really means anything beyond that specific person likes another specific person. If they do, even if one does bad, since they hold them in high regard the follow up of they meant well is usually there. :dunno I personally do not see it as a flag, because if I did I would have to have my flag raised a lot. :))

Because for one, he is a good man and someone is attempting to spread rumors and false information about his plans which could have an impact to his business.

There are no flags to be raised. It is what it as I said above....good people get slammed all of the time.

I am not sure. But I think this person is a self employed roofer named Bobby Lee Elliot that has started all these rumors about it being a dump site. Because he just put on Dallashiram patch crist closed the idea. I'm going to look his name up on Facebook to see maybe if can I find him just for kicks.. O well what a shame for Crist.. :spamsmiley I did contact the city council and they wasn't against it or for it. Said they got a few calls and emails asking about it. And they even said it's not a dump. :BH

Well, looks like the nay's have won this round.
