Is it just me, or was that a sloppy, sloppy game from both Bama & UM ?
Miscues, Penalties etc. etc. ......
Not too many penalties, I will say Bama was lucky they didn’t get a 15 yard late hit penalty. Bama just didn’t get their offense going tonight and of course continued having center miscues.
I will give credit to MI, they played much better than I ever expected. Solid team.

Y'all should be nice to Bama fans this week. Just be nice. No rubbing it in and laughing and trolling.
As a Bama fan, I say laugh and troll all day. The ribbing is part of what makes college football fun. I only have issues when it gets ugly as there is a difference between good old fashion ribbing and being flat out rude. I know way too many people who hate Bama so much they are nothing but ugly about anything to do with Bama. Those are the people I block. So if you wanna be blocked....

There is a Georgia Dawgs group I belong to on FB. Some of them are getting ugly about Michigan. My response was, "Michigan did something Georgia failed to do this season and that was to beat Alabama." Then they respond with how Alabama only beat Georgia because Dawg offensive linemen were being held the entire game. Granted #71 got away with a lot of holding calls in the second half of the Michigan game, but Michigan still beat them.
I like the Dawgs. I've been a fan of the Dawgs since 1969. I've been a fan of Michigan since I was 8. One thing I don't do is make excuses for when they lose. That's just being a sore loser. The game last night was a close one, which makes it all the better. The Washington-Texas game was the same.
Some bowl matchups were blowouts, like Oregan against Liberty. For the life of me, I can't understand why you would match up a #8 team against a #23 team.

I'm seeing posts on FB with people claiming Georgia should have been in the playoffs because they won two consecutive national championships, yadda, yadda yadda. I responded it didn't matter what teams did the seasons before because they all started this season 0-0. Any team in the FBS could have beaten FSU the other night.
Beginning next year nearly any team with a winning record will have a shot....will be almost like March Madness.

I would find it hard to support a team whose head coach is the subject of two major ongoing NCAA investigations. Some of the allegations go back as far as 2015 and some as recent as this season. The definition of a corrupt culture. Not the role model I would want my children to follow. Yes these are allegations but when you suspend yourself before the NCAA makes a ruling it kind of leans toward guilt at some level. At least I can get in bed early Monday I have no interest in either team. Football is the cruelist of sports playoffs one down game and you are out. The best team doesn't always win out. Too physical to be the best of 3 or 5 like MLB or NBA. Oh well that's why we watch.
And I hope everyone got a trophy.
