Syracuse has landed quarterback Kyle McCord from the transfer portal. McCord was Ohio State's starter this season, going 11-1 while throwing for 3,170 yards, 24 touchdowns and six interceptions.

Missouri wins 14-3. OSU looked nothing like it did all season. Most likely because 17 of their players entered the portal, and their starting QB went to Syracuse. This was the first game the second-string QB got to start, but he went down in the second quarter. Their third-string QB, a true freshman, came in to finish the game. This is why I think they should not open the portal until Spring.

Wow, I turned it off just after Missouri scored their first TD. I’m surprised they held the lead but like you said, their best players weren’t in the field. See, there’s still hope for DS after all. He may be a 4th qtr QB.

I'm thinking that the advent of the portal and players withdrawing from the games along with the BCS expanding has pretty much killed the reason for the Bowl games.

Only thing left is the week long party the players get to enjoy.

If all the games look like this one, ratings are going to suck.

Ole Miss has 14 players not playing today. 12 to the transfer portal, 1 to the NFL draft, and a QB who is ineligible.

Penn St. has 3 to the transfer portal and one to the draft. The Chick-fil-A game begins at noon. You can have a chicken sandwich and waffle fries for lunch as you watch the game. Penn State is favored by 3.

Auburn plays Maryland at 2 in the Music City Bowl. Maryland has 13 players who have opted out because they went to the transfer portal. Auburn QB Robby Ashford opted out. He transferred from Oregan, where he sat on the bench. He was Auburn's backup QB. Besides him, 12 others went to the portal. Maryland is favored by 3.

I like the Dawgs, but I think they are going to blow FSU out because 23 Seminoles have opted out. So far, none of Georgia's players have opted out. It is unclear if Bowers is in Miami. The Dawgs are 13-point favorites. Expect to see Georgia play a lot of its bench today to give them more experience and to keep them from going to portal come spring.
