Bruce Jenner Endorses Cruz, Wants To Be His "Trans Ambassador"

Do you have a google alert or something setup that sends you alerts for any new Caitlyn article?

I have to say, I liked Bruce Jenner a lot more than I like Caitlin Jenner. At least Bruce wasn't a hypocrite. (That I know of)
 
I still suspect mental illness or publicity. My opinion has less to do with his sex change as it does the family he belongs to.

I tend to agree that Jenner was probably a good guy. But that clan will mess anyone up.
 
I walked in from practice last night and Mrs. and Daughter Colson were watching his/her reality show. She was riding a bus with a group of Trans-whatevers and they were on the attack against him because he was defending conservatives and republicans in general. It was specifically about a city (which I didn't catch) who were trying to defeat a measure allowing the BLTG from using whatever bathroom they wanted. And they were VICIOUS against Jenner for not denouncing the conservatives who were pushing to defeat of the measure.

Real tolerant I tell you! If I recall from being captive and watching an earlier episode under duress, Jenner is paying for their little outing. I would have told the ingrates to get off my bus.

Ted Cruz is no friend of the trans community. Caitlyn Jenner wants to be a spokesperson and insperation for the Trans community. Endorsing Ted Cruz is kind a slap in the face to those she claims to want to help. jmo.

What makes you think that? There's a whole lot of judging in this post. Cruz is a clear constitutionalist. Unless you are a one issue voter, it really shouldn't be a problem.

Those who don't want to be judged on their sexuality, shouldn't vote on their sexuality. I see a Jenner endorsement as someone who is seeing beyond any identity or sexuality issues and voting for what is best for the country. JMHO

I guess we will have to agree to disagree. I don't see it the way you see it. Although I do find it quite funny to see conservatives coming to the sudden defense of Caitlyn Jenner. :D :D

It's probably because we agree with his politics and are just not crazy about his dress code. The two can exist in the same universe. :llama:

Ted Cruz has stated that he has a "big tent" party philosophy. The more the merrier... :cheer1:

Caitlyn Jenner is a successful Conservative individual with unique life experience,
I still think the GOP could shake things up a bit with an early convention speech.

I'm neither defending nor condemning her. You've condemned her far more than I have. Although I will admit to being impressed that she doesn't vote with her identity or sexuality. That actually raised her credibility quite a bit with me. I know a lot of folks who are gay/lesbian, but very few who don't vote their sexuality.

It amused me that those who were so quick to support her are angry that she continues to hold a Republican viewpoint, even though she clearly stated that in the much acclaimed television interview.
 
I'm not angry that she has maintained her Republican viewpoint. I would think it would be odd if she suddenly switched political parties overnight. I just find it very hard to believe that someone who advocates for a group would be willing to vote for a candidate who does not support that group. That to me is hypocritical. I support Caitlin Jenner and her transformation I don't support what I view to be her lack of integrity as an advocate.

Why should a gay or transgender person conform to someone else's idea of the correct politics ? ? ?

Should we not treat people as individuals ? ? ?

How do you know he doesn't support that group? And, again, you are placing her in a box where she votes based on how she identifies.
 
There are people who just happen to be "LGBT" and there are people who are "By God LGBT" and make that the central aspect of their life. Expecting all transexuals to think like Cristan Williams is the same as saying all whites should think like David Duke.
