Brett Kavanaugh

Sometimes my redneck friends are the best. A buddy called to see how I was doing and the conversation turned to the hearing. We talked about how horrid it was. He said "Fu(k those bastards. You need to put on some Skynyrd."

I think he is right.
 
It seems that we are pretty much at the same place we were before the day started. There was no additional proof to move the needle in either direction.

As I said...it's a dog and pony show to rally their sheeple.

But they might have gone too far this time. I feel a great disturbance in the Force.

That was my feeling as well before his testimony today but now I think he'll get confirmed. Obviously this assumes no new allegations are brought forward.

I saw some of her testimony and she wasn't a bad witness. She may even believe what she says. But the long term memory of someone who was drunk during an incident 35 years ago would be discredited out of hand in a court proceeding. This is why we have statutes of limitation.

What we are weighing is the coached testimony of a drunk teenager 35 years later with the possibly drunk testimony of as many as 5 or 6 teenagers who said it never happened. With no physical evidence, it would be insanity to ruined someone's life here.

IMO this is the key...

She is such a flake... she actually believes something that did NOT happen... happened.

It is hard to pin down a lie when the person does not know they are lying...

My personal opinion: This was and is theatre to cover up something else in politics.
The reason for the circus has and had little to do with Kavanaugh becoming Justice Kavanaugh.

If the DEMS repeated something enough times... they got their way...

Funny how that is not working anymore...

And they just do not want to admit it.
