I have to think he is pretty clean if it took them 6 weeks to go back 35 years to find a date for which he has an iffy alibi!!!!
 
We have seen the Dems pull this stunt several times in the past. If Feinstein is so concerned about the welfare of women; why didn't she release the accusatory letter when she received it in July? Why has she waited so long? The whole thing is nothing more than BS; plain and simple.
 
I'm so over it. Her story is sketchy, her recollection is foggy, and her motives are obvious. She ( a 15 year old at the time mind you) never told a soul until it was brought up in a 2012 couples therapy session (who knows why) and Kavanaugh was not mentioned personally until July when she sent the letter. She has been a leftist, a Limousine Liberal, and an activist all her life. Kavanaugh's mother was the judge who presided over her parent's foreclosure. Her students describe her in the least flattering terms.

It looks for all the world like a frame job, but of course Merkowski had to support holding off on the vote because of her female body parts or risk the wrath of the pink hats (sorry ladies, that's how I see it). So here we are.

I almost hope that Trump pulls Kavanaugh, and appoints somebody like Napolitano just to watch the left go full apoplexy . I'm over suffering fools.

This whole "I'm going to accuse someone 40 years later with no evidence" tactic by the Left is not new, and just so magically happens to appear just as someone is about to take a position in politics that the Left doesn't want. How many times will the Left 'cry wolf' with zero facts/evidence other than "Her Word against His"?? There's already at least 2 other women that say her story is false. So I think that's more valid than 1 in opposition, considering the complete lack of evidence involved. It's nothing but a smear campaign. The worst part is they make victims political and people consider it to be 100% factual. Women should be demanding proof and evidence because without it this is going to get to the point where real victims will be ignored because everyone is so sick of these baseless attacks.
 
Yeah, her story doesn't seem 100% credible. At this point, without any additional evidence, it's simply his word against hers and nobody can prove one way or the other. I say go ahead with the vote and confirm his nomination.
 
I think she is flat out lying... there, I said it!

We need to remember: In America, one is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law...
And so far... literally EVERY TIME the left comes up with one of these sexual conduct accusations...
There is NEVER a court case... NEVER!

I hope the public learns a lesson here...
 
Here's another take on it and I hope it's not taking offensively: For a moment let's say he did do it, then what? Aren't the libs and dems all about giving people 2nd and 3rd and 4th chances, especially after over 30 years of doing good? Let's face it, it's been longer than most murderers face in prison before being released (at least in liberal states).

It has nothing to do with whether he is guilty or not. The democrats couldn't care less about the woman. They just want to delay the vote with the hope of taking the senate.
 
Given that they are both scheduled to testify in a week, I wonder what else will come out about either (or both) of them this week.
 
Well, well, well. Her lawyer,Debra Katz, is the Vice Chair of the Project on Government Oversight. POGO receives a lot of funding from liberal sources including Soros connected PACs. Once lauded for going after thousand dollar hammers and other outrageous spending, their "nonpartisan" investigations have covered Republicans extensively since the Bush Administration.

Yep...

Waiting 36 years to say maybe, you were possibly, almost, raped is interesting ... or a lie.

This gives politicians that want a way to back out of voting to confirm Kavanaugh, the ideal excuse... why else did the dems wait until this week to break a false allegation so the vote would not pass.

What was that?... innocent until proven guilty. Nope ... stained by false allegations - works every time.

Dems have been doing this for decades. Does not have to be true, the man can't prove it did not happen... can't prove a negative.

It gives the liberals a way to say they can no longer vote for that person.
Several red state Democrats facing tight re-election races, who have been considered potential Kavanaugh votes, said Monday that they want the allegations thoroughly investigated.

Sen. Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota said in a statement posted on Twitter Monday that Ford's allegation is "serious."

"Ford should be given an opportunity to testify before the Committee and she is willing to do so. Judge Kavanaugh has also expressed his willingness to discuss the issue with the Committee," Heitkamp said. "It takes courage for any woman to speak up about sexual assault, and we need to respect Prof. Ford by listening to her and hearing her story."

Sen. Claire McCaskill, D-Mo., echoed Heitkamp. “I am deeply troubled by these allegations," she said in a brief statement. "They should be examined thoroughly and fairly by the Judiciary Committee without any artificial timeline.”
